This was my third occasion of shooting here and you just can't get bored of the place, with the amount of props available and the large open spaces with a multitude of settings, you just can't go wrong. It's a place were you don't run out of ideas just time and Shelly, the resident photographer, is warm and welcoming and more than happy to cater to your needs.

For me I hope there are many more shoots there in the future.

Another cracking shoot at the X Factory.

Loads of space, different areas to shoot, lots of props and a pretty unique place to do "legal urbex shooting" indoors.

My first time visiting The X Factory in Stoke-on-trent during my recent tour of the East Midlands, doing two full studio days there and what a cracking, fun and productive two days it was at this amazing urbex space with its many floors and rooms to have fun shooting in. 😁

All the photographers who booked onto my studio days were very pleased with the creative opportunities it provides and the wonderful images we all created.

The owner Kevin (Shelly) is extremely professional, on hand to assist at any point, with a great sense of humour even filling me in on some of the local history, very welcoming, such a nice person and was helpful and informative with great communications when organising everything leading up to the day also making it a breeze.

So lovely of Kevin to pick me up and drop me back off at my hotel plus with some travel problems he was very kind to drop me off that little further so I didn't miss my train back to Perth on the last day, very respectful and a complete gentleman with a high regard for your safety and making sure your comfortable and happy with everything.

The studio is absolutely magical with endless amounts of daylight coming through all the windows, many excellent different set ups, some lighting equipment, fabulous props, and there is also lots of clothing and more available for models to use not to mention the superb changing/makeup area also which in itself makes a wicked area to shoot. Everywhere you look there is something exciting.

Very accessible, so easy to find and get to by public transport or if your driving with free parking also.

Extremely spacious with lots to choose from this is an excellent venue and playground for creatives.

I highly recommend this amazing studio to all, do not miss out.

I have shot at the X Factory several times and now again with the amazing Aurora Violet.

A large, relaxed industrial space which with the natural light is a dream to shoot in, offering so much in the way of backdrops and sets.

I can’t recommend highly enough!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this venue.

Shabby chic in atmosphere and style, I adore the pastel walls, the many rooms, the random vintage and bright-coloured furniture, the light, the contrast, the random accessories... the abundance of space. It's the sort of space that makes you feel creative.

I look forward to coming to this location again!

This was my first visit to The X Factory and hopefully shall not be the last.

Kevin was prompt to show me around the studio and all the many rooms / sets it has to offer, filled with an abundance of props, set ups, a huge wardrobe collection and a makeup changing area available for models.

The studio was plenty warm which is a rarity for me!

I Have written references before about the X factory, but this time its about the owner and the environment within the studio.

This studio is unique as it is not a classic studio, its an environment in which you can try most things mainly using natural light.

I have attended three charity events, all have been successes, mainly due to the environment but also Kevin's passion for all to enjoy the event.

Treat this studio like an invention test on Masterchef, the environment provides the ingredient you have to rise to the challenge to unlock the best pictures.

You get images here that you my have to try many locations to achieve in a normal environment.

So add a new dimension to your photography, give this exceptional studio a try

I was invited by Kevin for a group shoot charity event for Women's Aid at his studio TheXFactory. There was an amazing designer Catherine who also helped organise this event, Catherine is the owner of MiAmor Clothing, she designed and handmade all the garments especially for this event!

Overall the whole event was so fun and I'm so happy to have had the opportunity to work with so many talented individuals!

Not the easiest place to find, but once I was inside it was a wonderful place to shoot. A real Aladdin's cave with so many areas and props, and lots of natural light. I could easily have spent the entire day here. Well done Kevin, you have a great studio.

I shot at The X Factory for the first time during a charity shoot arranged by Lottii Rose. There are so many areas and some fabulous natural light, ideal for a big event like this one. Kevin was always on hand and was friendly and helpful throughout. Thank you so much, I loved it!

Had my first shoot with Kevin today he travelled down to shoot in my area, We had been talking for quite some time about shooting and I’m so thrilled I got the opportunity to meet and shoot with him.

Pre comms were great, Kevin is an incredible photographer with a superb eye for detail, His direction throughout the shoot were amazing and from what I have seen in the back of the camera the images looked stunning!

Went to meet Kevin at The X Factory to discuss a future shoot and events.

Kevin was welcoming, friendly and very knowledgeable.

The X Factory is a wonderful space!! It's absolutely massive with so much opportunity for different shoot styles to suit every need!! There's also some fantastic, large, outdoor spaces which provide even more variety.

I am looking forward to shooting with Kevin soon and would highly recommend him and his studio.

Had a second shoot at The X Factory with model Keira Lavelle it was supposed to be a duo shoot with another of favourite models I like to work with but she wasn't very well which i totally understand, I'm already looking to book her again anyway.

Any way this studio is worth booking for its eclectic mix areas that you can use, recommended by me.

My second visit after a 2 year gap was saved by Kevin who managed to find a replacement model at very short notice when my booked model had to cancel due to illness.

The studio itself is huge with plenty of natural light and allows you to get an urges feel without needing to scale fences or crawl under barbed wire. Recommended.

Yesterday I had a great shoot at the X Factory with Miss Class.The X Factory is an amazing place to shoot with different rooms and a good roof area that is good for shooting. I had an enjoyable 2 hours and used many of the props that are available to create different ideas.

I would definitely recommend the X Factory.

Fantastic space. Shot for 4 hours here in urbex/bondage shoot and barely scratched the surface. so much decrepit cool. This studio screams a fun post-apocalyptic tone but would be great for any kind of shoot.
