John H booked me at Studio EH17 today and I was somewhat nervous catching a few busses out of the city to an area that I didn't know but actually it was really straight forward and as soon as I got there Angela was so welcoming I felt right at home!

The studio its self is a cute self-contained cabin in Angela's (beautiful) garden - it has tea, coffee a dressing table and privacy screen (what more does a model need?!) Along with lighting, backdrops and props/chairs. It's a great space to shoot, plenty of privacy whilst still being close enough to the house for anything additional you could need (i.e. the loo).

I'm really surprised I hadn't found the studio sooner and hope to visit again! Happy to recommend it to others and am grateful to Angela for her lovely welcome!

I worked at this lovely little studio for the first time recently during my mammoth Scottish tour and had such a lovely studio day there!

Angela is instantly welcoming and kind and offered a cuppa as soon as I got through the door (a woman after my own heart! :) )

It is a wonderful Garden Photography Studio, with a small self contained kitchenette and a wardrobe for the models to use.

There could be a possibility for outdoor photography also (clothed).

There is a privacy screen for changing if you need it on the shoot also.

The studio has various backdrops, lighting and everything you could wish to need. The bathroom facilities are within the main house and parking was a breeze.

I really enjoyed my stay here and would love to return on future tours.

What a great studio, I had the pleasure of working there with GTB Photography today and had a great experience. Lots of space, props for inspiration and Angela is so welcoming and helpful. I highly recommend EH17 and hope to work there again soon.

Angela is just amazing. What a joy and pleasure working with her and the studio.

A challenging shoot that just turned into a great fun filled afternoon.

Angela really knows her art and is full of experience and advice for model and photographer alike to get the most out of the time we had together.

I will be working with Angela and the studio on other shoots and I cannot wait to work with Angela as a model too.

Met Angela yesterday while doing a studio shoot with GMB photography at her StudioEH17 in the suburbs here in Edinburgh. A lovely helpful person who offered advice and help with shoot and poses this is both a model and photographer I will definitely try to shoot with in the future sooner than later we’ll worth the journey from Yorkshire just to spend time with her as photographer. Looking to makeing this happen

First shoot using this studio and won’t be my last. It is a nice compact studio with a number of backdrops, good natural and artifical lighting. Angie the studio owner has put a lot of effort in ensuring various props are available, she also has a nice area for makeup and on hand if you need assistance.

So if you are looking for a nice studio to work in give The Studio EH17 a try doubt you’ll regret it.

I would highly recommend Thestudioeh17. I have been a part of countless shoots there and have always enjoyed my time there. Angie who owns the studio is very approachable and very helpful. She has a wide range of props of all kinds. Stretching from stools and armchairs to hats and outfits as well as a smoke machine and studio fan. She also has a wide range of backdrops including paper and vinyl. The studio has a homely and cosy feel and you always feel welcome there. I would definitely book the studio again and look forward to my next shoot there. x

A lovely, small but warm space that has clearly been built with a lot of love and care - easily accessible by public transport too for bonus points! Angela the owner is as friendly as they come, and I hope to revisit this creative space again.

I have been lucky enough to shoot at Studio EH17 on several occasions so far . The studio is ideally situated in south Edinburgh , the lovely studio owner Angie is extremely helpful. The studio has various backdrops and lighting set ups . Also a smoke machine amongst other props . Great natural light in the studio if required and some opportunity to shoot outdoors . If you haven’t booked yet , why not ? My next shoot is on Sunday and more to come
