I attended my first photoshoot and social event at the Shed Studio on 6th November and was warmly welcomed by Kezz with hot refreshments. The studio, professionally laid out, was well equipped with a variety of backgrounds, lighting set ups together with ample props.

Naz, our model for the night, was the icing on the cake being both fun to work with and able to adapt to fresh styles for each change of set.

I would recommend working with Kezz at The Shed Studio.

Kezz messaged me to organise a Halloween themed shoot at The Shed and I was super excited to be a part of a Halloween shoot! Kezz is always so creative with ideas for the group shoots held at the studio and has a lovely group of photographers attend. Communication is great, Kezz is highly professional and has a really lovely studio space with lots of props. The group shoots are relaxed and always have a lovely atmosphere. The time just flies by! I look forward to any possibility of returning to The Shed. Highly, highly recommended!

Another amazing group shoot with Kezz in her studio, it was such a blast, I got the best memories ever.

Kezz has the best pre-communications so we discussed everything very quickly and Kezz also helped with my travel arrangements so I am very happy this shoot happened 🤩

It’s always the best atmosphere in Kezz’s studio as Kezz works with the best photographers who are all good friends so everyone is easy-going,relaxed and not afraid to experiment and try a new things so we did such a cool sets today.

Kezz works without any rush and we also had a lovely break with amazing cakes so I wish I could have all ground shoots running like that.

No matter the model or tog. All are treat with the upmost respect. Because after all we all want to create something special. Top venue!

I had a great time shooting at a group event at the Shed last night.

Kezz was on hand with a warm and friendly greeting and I felt right at home from the start. The shoot was well organized and Nicole & Emma were the perfect models, adapting to each set effortlessly and did a great job bringing ideas to life.

Kezz does a great job of making the session feel very relaxed and informal but at the same time moving things forward without making it feel rushed.

She also strikes a good balance of offering advice and helping out where needed but also giving you creative space as a photographer.

I love the informal family feel of the Shed and recommend these events to photographers of all levels, it was definitely a worthwhile experience to be repeated!

What can I say about Kezz…

Well she is absolutely amazing at what she does and is a joy to be around!

I’ve been working with kezz since I first started my modelling and we never fail to have fun, get creative and of course produce some wicked images.

I’ve learnt a lot from her over the years and am very grateful to have her as not just a photographer but a friend.

She’s super creative and always coming up with crazy cool ideas.

I always love working with kezz and am amazed at how great she is.

I would 100% recommend her and her beautiful studio “theshedessex” in which she hosts some brilliant group events like big themes such as ice queen to rain shoots outside. The group nights are always very relaxed with a friendly, fun , creative atmosphere with tea and biscuits too (the real reason why I go Wink joking 😂) but honestly if you are contemplating working with kezz then my advice is do it ! And you won’t regret it!

I just love this place!

I've been lucky enough to join small group events at The Shed many, many times now and the place never fails to surprise and delight.

Kezz is always very creative in her ideas and light setups but encourages photographers to innovate on her ideas or suggest ideas of their own.

She also makes a mean cup of tea!

It's also clear that she cares very much about both her photgraphers and her models, making you feel like you're part of a family and not just at another "event".

I've used the studio by myself too on a number of occasions. The studio is compact but roomy and has a huge variety of lights, backdrops and props that are there to be used.

100% recommended by me! :)

Misfit Photography

I attended another group shoot at The Shed Studio which was arranged by the owner Kezz. Upon arrival Kezz was there to greet me and within a few minutes offered me a drink.

This was roughly my fourth time attending an event and from the moment that you arrive you are made to feel welcome. Every set change be it lighting, backdrop or the outfits that the model has brought along. Everyone is actively encouraged to voice their opinions even to the point that each photographer can change the lighting to what they would prefer.

As Kezz’s focus is not just upon model safety but also that everyone gets the photos that they would like. And you can if time allows shoot a set again once the other photographers have photographed it.

I cannot recommend Kezz’s events enough as they are so well organised, ran, friendly and everyone is able to make suggestions even before the day of the event and Kezz will talk to the model with regards to styling and between them they will do their best to accommodate.

She's an extremely creative and talented photographer with an amazing vision for devising unique and interesting shoots. Just Imagine

I was lucky enough to join a group shoot at "The Shed (Essex)" studio, and had an absolutely superb evening of photography with the brilliant model MaddieH.

The studio owner, Kezz, who is also an accomplished photographer and a lighting specialist, made me and the other three photographers, as well as the model, very welcome, supplying us with plenty of tea, coffee, and biscuits throughout the evening as well as being very creative and helpful with posing and lighting ideas and driving the evening's shooting forward.

The studio is very well-equipped with backdrops, lighting, and props; you are free to use these to suit your own ideas and shooting plan, or if you prefer Kezz is on-hand to guide the shoot with her creative ideas to get some great photographs.

Kezz (could also be called Fizz, to match her fizzing personality and wit), is a lovely person to work with and I hope to join her in the studio again before too long. Highly recommended.

Didn't have a shoot as a model but as a photographer.

Kes taught me the basics of studio lighting and photography.

She kept it simple for me and taught me everything I needed to know.

She had also got a model to come in so I could do portrait work on a real life model.

A very laid back but informative lady. I think we got on very well and will look forward to putting her tips in practice at future group events at her studio.

Highly recommend as a amateur photographer:)

What an amazing workshop I had at @The Shed with Kezz organising everything perfectly.

Pre-communication was on spot and Kezz is so easy to come along with so we discussed all the details very quickly and were all ready to shoot.

The studio itself is very-well equipped and we all had a lot of fun shooting there.

Kezz made sure the studio is warm and I felt like at home there with all attendees being very nice and friendly. Kezz has all necessary equipment in the studio and was very helpful and ensured everyone is happy so photos looked amazing straight out of the cameras.

I wish that workshop had been lasted longer as I was really enjoying it.

I had a wonderful shoot at "The Shed". Totally misnamed !!!

I was greeted by Keez who showed me around and went through the plan for the shoot, then put the kettle on :)

The shoot started a couple of minutes late but we were given more than that back by the shoot end.

A wonderful studio, great atmosphere, more than enough equipment and props, plenty of parking, easy to find but hard to forget.

I look forward to my next visit. Thank you Keez

What a gorgeous day I had!

This was my first shoot with Kez and first studio day at The Shed, what a welcoming bunch I had. One of those that just felt like a group of mates hanging out on a sunday afternoon, as much as it was relaxed dont read into that and think it was in anyway not professional, great standards, time keeping and quality was upheld the entire shoot but great chats and banter was had alongside for the duration; and these are my favourite kind of days. Pre coms were perfect, i knew exactly everything i needed to know and Kez was so accommodating with me and my travel situation.

The shoot space was exceptional and wonderful gear throughout.

Looking forward to another shoot here! Highly recommended from me 🖤

Naming Kezzs studio the Shed is a bit like calling Brighton pavilion a conservatory. Fully stocked with everything you could possibly want and loads more you didn't know you needed. A proper Alladdins cave with more backdrops than you can shake a stick at. Plus Kezz on hand to give help and advice.

Excellent group shoot on this visit, not too formal but not a free for all either. Perfect for anyone a little less confident (there's always the risk of getting sidelined). Perfect sized group.

Can't recommend here enough. Go if you get the chance. I'll definitely be back.

Another shoot in the bag at the studio this time with Ayeesha for an Egyptian themed shoot.

The studio is always meticulously clean and organised, Kezz is always on hand to offer advice and help set the lighting up and will always help you achieve the look your after.

The studio has a large array of paper backdrops and also some stylish fabric backdrops.

The atmosphere is always friendly and the kettle is always on the go.

Highly recommend the studio shooting for either solo shoots or group shoots

Today I had a lovely shoot at The Shed with a photographer I work with often. He really spoke highly of the studio and today I found out why!

Kezz who owns The Shed is the most down to earth, chatty and all around beautiful person. She makes your visit so comfortable and inviting.

I would definitely recommend the studio to any model as there is such an safe energy and you are treated like family!

I am so excited for future shoots there :)
