Richard James Studio

John turned up on time but the studio was behind schedule, he didn't mind and enjoyed in the conversation with lots of laughs and plenty of drink. Left the studio clean and tidy and shared lots of ideas.

John is a nice guy with some ideas that are defiantly different to how I normally shoot ( all good )

We had a hour together with lots of laughs . I hope I might get the chance to shoot with John again at some point .

Had another good shoot with John last evening in a wooded location. Another fun time, he always makes me feel comfortable and at ease plus, we have a laugh.

He took some great shots & was clear about what he required.

Once again I enjoyed the session with this photographer and look forward to the next.

He is always the gentleman and polite.

Im very pleased with the shoot I did with John today. He came all the way to a London Studio to work with me and Michael. He had great communication skills giving direction, was easy going, polite, thoughtful, considerate and always respectful of my own ideas. He had amazing props and actually taught me something new about photography techniques. I had a lot of fun & time flew away! Plus he managed to put up with my divarish attitude bless him! I highly recommend him to other models. Thanks a million x

Had a shoot with John last night (20th Jan) it was my first and I thoroughly enjoyed it. John is easy to work with, funny, polite and won't ask anything of you that you are uncomfortable with.

Pre communication was excellent, I had a perfect idea of what we were going to be shooting and how the shoot would go. At the shoot John was kind, professional caring and a blast to work with. Look at his pictures, he's a great profesional! It has been a pleasure working with him and the painter Mike Beardmore. They made the shoot really funny and made us feel comfortable, he has the control over the image and the light and he knows exactly how to capture Mike's ideas in just a picture! They together are a great team, but individually, John is a fantastic photographer. I am really looking forward to see the results :D

Met John on the Dragon slayer group shoot in Wincanton. He is a cheeky chap who makes you laugh and smile but is still professional. He is great at giving direction and comes prepared with ideas. Would work with him again and recommend him to any model!

John made me feel very at ease, made me laugh too much (couldn't concentrate on posing!!) and produced lovely pictures to boot!

I had my 2nd studio shoot with John and Mike (the artist) last week and they are both lovely to work with, very relaxed and organised with shots. John even brought some of his own props and made sure I was totally at ease. John and Mike are easy to get on with and have a great sense of humour! Cannot recommend more :-)

I met John at the Battlefield Photoshoot in Wincanton and had my first solo shoot with him last evening. What can I say? John puts you at ease almost immediately and is very caring and supportive throughout. He is very good at direction and I found myself working so easily with him. Having a good rapport with your photographer is important and I felt that due to his professional but relaxed nature we got on really well and often couldn't help having laughs at times. The shoot passed so quickly which can only prove what a great photographer he is - highly recommended and would be so happy to work with him and his friend Mike who was there for photographs for his astounding artwork. Thank you guys I enjoyed the shoot very much :-)

Had my second shoot with John this morning, and it went great. John knows what he wants and is able to direct, and he's a fun, chatty guy to be around. Looking forward to working with him again, on either side of the camera!
