Derek attended the Rear Curtain Sync workshop hosted by Bob Atkinson at 6 Towns Photography Studio. I always look forward to shooting with Derek, so it was great to see that he was in attendance - he is always a pleasure to work with. His ideas are always fantastic, and he takes time to make sure he has the exact shot he is after - a perfectionist (like me!), something I really appreciate.

Derek and his lovely partner, Judith, hired me once again for a workshop for a local camera club.

Both Derek and Judith are incredibly talented photographers in their own right, and so are fantastic at tutoring others. They are thoughtful, friendly, full of passion, and incredibly respectful. I can not fault either of them.

The workshop consisted of dance theme's, so outfits and styling were discussed prior to the shoot in great detail.

I really look forward to working with both Derek and Judith in the near future. I can not thank them enough for taking hare of me during the shoot, and for hiring me. It's always a pleasure. Highly recommended from me!

Derek is an absolute dream to work with. A true gent, a caring man, and a wonderful photographer.

Derek had a wonderfully interesting idea regarding a desk lamp that complete caught my attention when he originally approached me. Derek and his partner, Judith, both made the cap to create the look of a classic desk lamp, and did a truly wonderful job with it - it looked awesome!

Working with Derek was great - his pre-comms and post-comms have been awesome, and during the shoot he knew exactly what he wanted, so was able to give direct and clear direction, but also allowed me to work to my own flow with regards to expression and shape.

I would 100% work with Derek and Judith again and again. Highly recommended from me.
