Finally had a shoot with Alice. I've been wanting to work with her for some time and it was worth the wait. We shot at Sandon Studio, and managed to fit in a variety of rooms and outfits in a short time. Alice worked patiently and kept going with enthusiasm throughout a four hour shoot. She was able to pose independently as well as happily taking direction.

By the end of the shoot I had a high proportion of images with poses that just worked; a credit to Alice's abilities.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Alice and would definitely work with her again. A great model!

What an absolute pleasure it was to work with Alice.

We had several communications all prior to our shoot to work out ideas and unfortunately thanks to bad weather we weren't able to do everything we both wanted.

As a person Alice is so down to Earth and amazing we managed to get talking traveling to the studio and even during the shoot, as a model she was very relaxed during the shoot and worked hard to try and get through as many sets as possible in our limited time available.

A very competent and skilled model with a great sense of humour and very easy to get on with. I am delighted with the photos and will definately work with her again.

So let me give you the lowdown on my experience with Alice Bates...

So I came for a day out to Birmingham, home of Alice. After some messaging, she told me she had a shoot already scheduled on that day, but would meet up at around 3:15. It turned out that shoot ran over but Alice was very good in keeping me in the loop and informing me with plenty of time. We arranged where to meet, and i completely knew what was going to happen with our shoot. Right down to what colours she would bring. I don't want to say negatives in this, but i don't feel i was going to be overly excited by this shoot, just a nice day out, and i little shoot whilst there with a good looking model. How wrong i was. Alice messages me saying she's just arriving into Birmingham and where to meet. I tell her where i am, and she turns up with the biggest smile and warmest welcome i could imagine. At that point i knew today was going to be special. She directs me as to where to shoot. We head to a street not far from the train station. I was amazed at how many poses this girl can give me. I started to get excited as to what i was shooting with here. We must have went to 5 locations and shot some wonderful sets very quickly. I'm told if you want a high end portfolio, get the best models and you can't go far wrong. Alice seriously is one of those. If this is Alice in her first year of modelling im excited to see what she will be like with experience!! If whats going through your head is, 'Should i book Alice'? 'Will she be someone i have to tell what to do'? Throw money at this girl as she is seriously addictive and from minute one, creates fantastic images. She's fun, good looking and actually can model to a high standard.

Alice came along to Studio Number 8 for a three hour booking. We had arranged two photoshoots from the outset. Looking through Alice’s quality portfolio and judging from her glowing references I had full confidence in her modelling abilities. I was not disappointed. We had a really enjoyable session and the images turned out brilliantly well. She has great model looks and a beautifully proportioned slender figure. Her experience meant that she produced a continuous flow of elegant but dynamic poses. Alice is very communicative and this led to a truly collaborative session. She brings an intelligent thoughtfulness to all that she does and is also great company and has an amiable personality. Very easy to work with.

Had a great shoot with Alice Today. This was our 2nd shoot & pre-comms were great. I met Alice at the station & the train was on time :)

Alice is able to deliver a wide variety of genres such as girl next door, alternative, fashion or even pretty princess to creative ballgowns and this is just one reason I love shooting with Alice.

We had a lovely chat about each set which I had prepared for the days shoot so we both understood what we wanted to achieve and Alice didn't disappoint & delivered some super poses & portrayed each character precisely, resulting in some excellent images.

Super enjoyable shoot, super model & can't wait to shoot with Alice again.

Alice is a fabulous model & helped me create some cool pictures for a brand I'm working with. She's versatile & slipped into a glamour-puss look seamlessly for the second half of our shoot.

Really enjoyed working together & even though we were chatting I still managed to fire off 600 frames in the three hours.

Designer Photography

Around May time last year the amazing Alice came into my studio changed into a dress, walked out onto the set and blew me away.

I have been waiting for her to come back ever since and today she did.

Her pre shoot comms are perfect and I was slightly ready for her this time. She is still bright, intelligent, alternate and seriously attractive. Lovely skin tone with a wonderful figure.

She could always pose but much faster more perfect these days. We covered a lot of ideas, some technically quite difficult.

I recommended Alice before and nothing has changed, except, she is now in such demand I'm not sure when I will be able to work with her again.

Wow! Sometimes, as soon as you meet a model, you know the shoot is going to be fun & you are going to get some good images. Alice is a lively & intelligent girl, a pleasure to be with. She understood the mood I was trying to create & we got some great images together. She has lovely hair & stunning eyes, & her make-up was very well done. I got most of what I had in mind for the shoot, but looking at her images has given me lots of ideas for another shoot, which I hope we can do in the Spring. Totally recommended.

I must also add that it's a pleasure to share pre-shoot comms with someone who actually writes in sentences !
