The Hairdock- Hair By Helen Haydock

Hi everyone, I’m Helen! 

 

I decided to become a full time hairstylist after first getting to work with hair within my career as an actress/ musical theatre performer in London. Following injuries and a stint in the world of teaching, I decided to take my passions for all things creative and artistic and apply them to my love of hair! 

 

I have been fortunate enough to receive excellent training from big industry names such as Sassoon Academy London, Wella, Davines, Showpony, L’Oréal and Kerastase. Which have all lead to me joining the Senior Team at an award winning Staffordshire salon around 6 months ago, following a move away from London and Surrey back towards my hometown and family.

 

My main goal when behind the chair is to make my clients and models feel empowered, relaxed and confident whilst giving them the hair that is perfectly bespoke for the individual, their look and

the hair goals. I have a special love for curly, textured hair, bold colours and precise cuts, but everyone is welcome! 

 

I have recently worked on shoots for L’Oréal ID Artist competition 2024-25. Was awarded second place in the 2023 Inter Training Services Photographic Competition and will soon be shooting for L’Oréal Colour Trophy. 

I love the excitement of working in shoots and look forward to expanding my portfolio and collaborating with as many artists, models and photographers as possible.
