I had my second Shoot with James today at the Granary Studios which was just as great and fun as the first time we shot together!

This time we worked on some Aerial Work where I rigged my Aerial Hoop and my Aerial Straps to the rigging at the studio. We also worked on an infinity light/ beauty concept.

James was kind, appropriate and pleasant to me throughout the shoot. James had a good idea of what he wanted to get out of the shoot and we bounced costumes and ideas off of each other.

James is a lovely guy to work with and I highly recommend working with this talented Photographer and Videographer.

Thanks James and I hope we can work together again soon!

It's been a while since I last shot at The Granary and it was great to be back.

I answered James' casting to shoot some new backgrounds, so Mia and I spent a couple of fun and very fruitful hours shooting a variety of setups. As ever, James was helpful and friendly. The studio is great, with impressive facilities and a pleasant dressing room for models.

I won't leave it so long next time - definitely recommended!

I worked with James as a model for a video shoot.

James is very professional, at the same time creating a friendly and comfortable atmosphere. He is clear and concise in what shot he is looking to achieve and how a model should present, explaining in a very straightforward way which goes to show how experienced and knowledgeable he is! A true pleasure to work with and a very attentive, polite person.

The studio itself is impressive with vast a range of different set ups and tools. The dressing room in the studio is actually the most spacious one I’ve seen so far, with aesthetic vanity lights for any last makeup fixes and wardrobe checks. The entire studio is really well looked after.

Definitely highly recommended.

I met James and his team at the Granary studio in Chichester.

The team were professional throughout the shoot and gave me clear direction of what they needed to produce their short corporate film.

The team made sure I was looked after and had a private changing room with heating included!

I got the oppatunity to use the facilities at The Granary & to meet James, it was an absolute plearure all round, the studio is well equiped loads of space and more lights than you can shake a stick at, photographers heaven really.

& to top it off you get James who is a wealth of knowledge and who will go to any feet to get what your after scaleing rigs to throw paint dust at your model lol.

I worked with Robyn on her first studio day at The Granary & we will be planning a return visit absolutely awesome shoot :).

I had a shoot today with James at The Granary studio.

Firstly I’d like to say, wow! The studio itself is fantastic! Such a great space, large, versatile and well equipped. I will definitely recommend the studio to others, and be using it myself in the near future.

Todays shoot was in answer to a casting call by James, who has recently purchased a low fog machine and wanted to test it out. So that is what we did :)

He experimented with levels, positioning, different lighting set ups as well as use of the space. I believe he now has a good idea of best to utilise the machine, as well as having some great ideas going forward.

James is lovely, very knowledgeable and personable and the shoot was really entertaining.

A great studio. And a great guy too :)

Another great shoot at The Granary, experimenting with atmospheric candle-light and mood lighting, oiled art nude style. This was a mix of video and photo as a test shoot; James puts a lot of effort into making sure he can deliver the results any clients want, testing new ideas before committing. Both he and the studio have infinite possibilities in terms of lighting and camera equipment that rivals many TV/film sets I've been on (the studio is used for such purposes so no corners have bene cut). It has a large dressing room, ample parking, and all the facilities you need for a long day or more if needed.

Today was my second time at the studio, this time for video work, and James was spot on. He can pretty much create any setting/lighting/effects/camera work needed, is extremely knowledgeable, experienced and helpful, and is a lovely guy to boot. Highly recommended.

My second shoot at The Granary, but definitely not my last.

James was professional, helpful and attentive, with everything set up as we'd discussed in pre-comms. Changes during the shoot were effortless and hassle-free. I got two completely different looks, exactly what I was after.

Fab studio!

While originally a video studio there is everything you need to use it as a photography studio. James can pretty much put together anything in terms of props and creative ideas as he has extensive knowledge and experience. We were using LED lights to make pretty, arty shots, some with fluffy 'cloud' to lie on (just two of the aforementioned prop ideas). There's a proper changing room and free parking outside too. I would love to shoot there again sometime.

As a model I would recommend James at Granary Studio.

He was incredibly easy to talk to and work with.

He remained professional at all times, and highly organised.

He had spent the previous days setting up for our shoot together.

Adjustments to the studio lighting and equipment were quick and not a bother.

I had a shoot at The Granary booked via a model. Firstly the studio in an amazingly beautiful location.

We used the curve in the main studio but I was shown several other spaces which all look well equipped.

The studio owner was on hand to provide assistance and was very helpful and ensured I had everything I needed for an excellent shoot.

I will certainly be using them again in the future.

My first shoot at The Granary, to shoot Florence Day with a "Back to the Future" theme. The studio is well set up with a full LED and tungsten rig as well as flash - I opted to make full use of the continuous light and came away with some wonderful images.

Definitely recommended!

I had the great pleasure of working for the first time at a studio shoot with a modified "back to the future' '82 DeLorean at the Granary. This was an amazing opportunity and I was lucky to get a short notice slot on Sunday morning due to the availability of the car

James (Video Specialist) and Zippy (Stills Specialist) were both there and provided a very warm welcome as well as kindly handling the lighting.

The studio is obviously top Commercial Video spec with a plethora of constant and special effects lighting plus haze and smoke machines, black curtains, white infinity wall and dedicated video / audio Pod Cast room.

It is also available to non commercial photographers like me and has brilliant flash lighting as well as unusually a full set of suspended and stand mounted Arri (Fresnel) constant lights for high quality stills shooting. I am looking forward to getting my hands on the latter at my next shoot here.

I highly recommend this studio to photographers and videographers from expert level to those just starting off, due to the presence of James and Zippy

Came back to the Granary for a second time today.

You don't always taken everything in on a first visit, but this time wow!

As far as lighting goes, this is a truly unique venue with no other studio like it on the south coast.

James - the owner and technical lighting specialist is always on hand to help set up the rig, along with Zippy with his years of expertise in the commercial and fashion industry - they make a formidable team.

Oooo - did I mention I got to play with an epic film set sized fan..far bigger and powererful than anything I've seen in any other studio. Gone with the wind - I nearly did!

Definately will be coming back for more shoots!

AMAZING!!!!

This is an incredible studio with a massive shooting space (big enough for a literal car!), with a dressing room with rails to hang up your clothes and mirrors with lights to adjust hair and makeup. Everything you could need with a studio!

I am so impressed with The Granary. James reached out to me and made my dream shoot a reality. I couldn't quite believe how everything was falling into place so easily (although I expect it was a lot of hard work over on James's end!!!). James organised the most amazing shoot at The Granary and even the promotional video for the event was incredible! Everything was brilliant.

I really loved my time at The Granary, and everyone was so lovely!!! I would 100000000% recommend this studio! I will definitely be coming here again :)

Yes, the studio is big enough you can drive a supercar into it.

The lightning capabilities are just amazing.

From a model's perspective, a lovely sized and well lit changing area.

This studio is definately worth a look. High ceilings to do aerial hoop and silk work. Set is beautiful countryside that if you wanted a quick shoot outside, you probably could.

Can't wait to see some of the forth coming sets which are going to be built.

My local studio - would definately coming again...in fact due there tomorrow!

Arranged a day's shoot at The Granary, with Katie Cooper.

Starting with Beauty/Portrait, Using their 70cm Beauty Dish with grid. It is a beast and produces gorgeous light. And using just the diffuser, just so creamy.

The RGB colour background lighting on the massive infinity wall is amazing, and can be fine tune to compliment models eyes, clothing, or create a mood. A sweetshop of creative pick'n'mix.

We then shot some lingerie, building a mini set using the 7x6 lasolite and scrim as a window and the contemporary style double bed. Using the huge blackout curtain, to add mood and change the light on the model, created a morning/evening look without changing the lights or set. a real bonus in controlling the light fully.

The make up room is large and the off set area is bonus so models can sit and relax when changing lighting/set.

To any photographer, I highly recommend this studio.

Did a shot at The Granary yesterday with Zippy and I was very impressed with all the equipment, variety of props and lighting, they even had a podcast room!

Would highly recommend to any model, can't wait to go back!

After meeting James and crew for a production meeting mid June it was great to be back to work on the historic project.

The Granary is an awesome place the atmosphere is mental James is just a really nice guy full of knowledge and always ready to help if he can.

Zippy is also a great guy and really knows his stuff.

The spaces available are right up there with the best, from the voice over room to the main shooting areas, lighting rigs, equipment and so much more.

I felt comfortable and well looked after during my time there.

Looking forward to be going back as many times as I'm asked or as many times as I can get there myself.

This is a great place to shoot or film they cater for everyone.
