References for The Attic Studio

This was my second visit to Attic, after being definitely *WOWED* on my first visit: I knew exactly what I was going to get. :D

I had two shoots essentially: one with the man himself who keeps things wonderfully in order for all we creative peeps, and one with a lovely photographer I know well who’d actually introduced me to the place. Both individual sessions went absolutely swimmingly due to the super Savvy quality control that Tim maintains... It was a particularly weary time because it was this side of the first pandemic lockdown, and the first time I dared set up a little mini-tour working and travelling to different places on the same journey. For me: not being able to go home after each individual shoot was one of the challenges I had to face personally and professionally in not being able to run my stuff through the washer as much/only being able to wash my hands when a venue or hotel had the relevant facilities. So I was very much dependent on studio owners and those I would meet up with having safety things in place too so I could try my best to look after all my clients and people I would meet thereafter. Tim at Attic had everything very evidently nailed. :) His place is big enough to allow plenty of space for the people booked in to be able to social distance. Not to mention all the other cleanliness aspects. You could see it in Tim’s face though how sad he was about not being able to handle/make the usual mugs of tea for everyone though - but he’d again put other thoughtful and genius things in place to work around it! :P (He’s literally the most hospitable studio owner you could meet!)

The studio is fantastic: offering so much scope for all kinds of image styles. I don’t think I shot anything similar to what I did on my previous visit - the inspo just kept us going! There are multiple coloured backgrounds for the more traditional vibe/or if you want to make the shot really pop! There are cool props and furniture that are either great for actually featuring in a theme: or simply enabling you to achieve another kind of effect in the image. (When I shot with Tim he was able to get a perfect birds-eye view because of this). The lighting fixtures and equipment range is spot-on for getting different lighting touches in your photos... The place basically has everything you need! :P

The changing area for the models is spacious too, with a nice big mirror. Plenty of space to let your suitcase vomit everywhere. Muhahahah! :P

I feel very safe and comfortable working at this studio and strongly believe that it’s run very well indeed. Thus; I’d happily recommend to other creatives! :D (Again!)

I look forward to coming back at some point in the future too. :)

Another great day at the attic. This time hosting a shibari workshop with Johnny Boom. The attic is one of my favorite studios to work at. Such a great atmosphere:)

Back in The Attic! One week apart for another, very different shoot as a workshop for Shibari. Friendly and well ran as I've become accustomed too here. Safeguarding very much in place and yet creativity flows. It's one of a small number of Midlands studios I'm happy to keep going back to.

Had a really enjoyable shoot at the Attic, great space to work in, excellent equipment and props, plenty of assistance and help on hand if required, but also happy to just let you get on with it.

Brilliant studio and would thoroughly recommend anyone to book if you want great results.

Today I have had the most wonderful 6 hour shoot at Tim’s Attic studio ..

With distancing and everyone’s health and well being a high priority, the shoot , which was one of my creative shoots with Vampire Princess modelling and Terry Smallman joined me for the photography side of things

Tim was superb .. was on hand if he was needed but not hovering over us .

I can very highly recommend the studio .. will be making another return there very soon

I attended the studio for a group shoot organised by Tim and the Boss Rachael with a fantastic model called @Czech_Beauty_ Tim was very welcoming and arranged different setups for a variety of images, he also provided advice when the occasional camera glitch occurred or where newer togs needed it. Fantastic value for money so much so I have signed up for another group shoot. As we are just getting out of the lockdown the hygiene and social distancing measures put in place worked well.

Freshly out of lockdown, this rescheduled shoot was a blast. Tim's managing his studio well with the necessary safe-guarding in place. It was light-hearted, fun and creative experience using stockinette tubes and packaging wrap with a great model supporting.

Again at the attic studio this was a last minute art nude group shoot....Fantastic place,Tim is always on hand to help with camera settings and lights. Excellent covid19 precautions.

first studio shoot in a while and Tim made it very enjoyable , nice friendly atmosphere and all safety precautions taken place due to the current climate , Tim is passionate about photography and is there on hand to help with anything from ideas to setting to provide refreshments , the shoot is well planned and though of before and it always runs smoothly

if your after a studio experience I would recommend the attic any time nice friendly and honestly nothing is to much trouble highly recommend

first time shooting at this studio. studio was very clean and atmosphere was very chilled and relaxed. they hand sanitizer at the door as you came through. also the model changing room was clean and tidy.

lovely place to shoot would be happy to shoot there again :)

As this was my first one to one shoot since my second home opened up after lockdown, I’ve decided to leave a reference.

On arrival, the hand sanitizer is right by the door.

There are new signs up and some restricted areas are marked off. As expected guidelines are being followed.

As usual the studio is spotlessly clean and tidy.

I kept Tim busy with my requests to move things around, changing backgrounds etc.

Highly recommended.

PS I attended an intimate group shoot the previous week.

On arrival, hand sanitizer and then guided to your seat. There was 5 togs and the chairs were all a minimum of 2 mtrs apart.

It was fairly quiet, not the usual with a cuppa and up close chatting, looking on each other’s mobiles etc.

Obviously missing was the sharing of boc with the model.

Overall it worked well and achieved some great images.

I had a great shoot again at the Attic studio this weekend...Tim is always on hand to help with the lights or answer any questions you may have.....great place. Would definitely recommend.
