195sqm natural light studio for your creative photo/video projects. Our studio is fully equipped and includes lighting equipment as standard.

The studio has windows running the full length on 3 walls (north, east and west), creating beautiful natural light options for shoots. Due to us being on the 5th floor - there are no surrounding buildings blocking light. 

The studio also includes free wifi, a client/chillout area and is fully wheelchair accessible.

As standard, hire includes the following:

• 4 x Interfit strobes and range of modifiers

• 4 x Godox continuous LED panels

• 1 x Colorama (range of colours available)

Where is the studio located?

The postcode for the studio is SP10 1RL. The studio is on the 5th floor in Chantry House inside of the Chantry Centre (opposite Boots). There are lifts available and the studio is fully wheelchair accessible.

Train: The studio is a 10-15 minute walk from Andover train station.

Being in the town centre, there is an excellent range of shops and places to get food/coffee.

Parking?

The nearest car park is the Chantry Centre Medium Stay car park, which is right next to the shopping centre. Payments can be made in cash or via the RingGo app (location 3427). Parking is free after 4:00pm, starting at £1 for 2 hours up to £5.90 for the full day. Parking is free on Sundays and Bank Holidays.

What is included in the hire price?

Hire includes the use of the studio space, lighting (and associated equipment) and props. One colorama is included in the cost of hire - additional coloramas can be hired at a cost of £20 per colour. Please let us know which colour(s) are required in advance.

We do not currently have any cameras or lenses for hire.

Other facilities?

There are separate ladies and gents toilets just outside of the studio. These are shared with residents of the other offices on site, but are not open to the public and are cleaned regularly.

There is a changing area and makeup station within the studio for models to get ready. Please note that this is a curtained off area rather than a self-enclosed room.

High-speed wifi is included (network and password provided upon arrival), and there is a chill out area with 2 sofas and a TV for clients/models to use whilst waiting.

The studio has a total of 9 radiators keeping it nice and toasty all year round.

What are the dimensions of the studio?

The total studio area is 195sqm, and is 15m x 13m. The windows span the full length of the north, east and west sides of the studio.

The ceiling height is 2.8m

Security in the studio?

Access to the studio is via keycard (we will provided passes on arrival). There is CCTV within the main shooting area of the studio. This is ultimately for the security and safety of photographers, staff and models. If this is of concern and you would prefer this to be deactivated during your shoot, please let us know. 

What are the opening hours?

Are there any restrictions?

Unfortunately due to fire safety conditions we are unable to accommodate the use of smoke/haze in the studio.

Fire/pyrotechnics are also not allowed in the studio.

Will there be staff on site?

We will have someone on site for the full duration of your booking to assist with any issues or queries that you have.

Food and drink?

You are welcome to consume food and drink in the studio - our only request is that any spillages are reported to staff immediately, and that all rubbish is disposed of in the bins provided.
