I shot with Ian for the first time but been talking about a shoot for a while. I was confident about the images (and us having a similar vibe) before the shoot so during the shoot I was happy! He always takes a few and then shows you the camera, other models know that this is always so helpful for the 'vision' of posing! Really appreciate that. The shoot chat was great, he's very friendly, laid back, great ideas and professional. 100% recommend Ian and would love to shoot again in the future!

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Ian attended a group event organised here at Basford Hurst Cottage by CeeCee under the events company 'Prestige Events Yorkshire'.

It was a pleasure to meet Ian and welcome him to Basford Hurst Cottage. He spent the day working hard alongside his fellow creatives and was always respectful of our location throughout the day. He was happy to ask if he ever needed anything and it was great to have a chat to him in between shoots.

We would not hesitate to reccomend Ian and look forward to seeing him at Basford again soon! Thank you so much for attending our location!

Met Ian at an event and he was the first photographer I got to shoot with. He made me feel extremely comfortable and relaxed. He is lovely and considering we probably had the worst room in the building to start with, he produced my some of my favourite photos out of all the photographers that I worked with on the day. I worked with Ian at a Prestige event in Sheffield. He is a wonderful photographer who creates beautiful imagery. The set I worked with him on I am absolutely obsessed with and is my favourite out of all my sets at this event. Very pleased with his worked and will definitely be working with him again in the future!

I had the pleasure of working with Ian at Antwerp Mansion with Twisted Edge and Thirteen Events.

Ian was well prepared for the shoot and as we met was friendly and polite. Ian was a true professional and shared his knowledge with me as we were moving through different poses, different light changes etc. He showed me the images as we went along to make sure I was comfortable and worked only at levels I was comfortable with.

Ian was laid back enough to let me do my own thing but honest enough to tell me if I needed to reposition but did so in a manner that was respectful.

I would recommend Ian to any model.

Had the pleasure and joy of another Twisted Edge shoot with Ian, and just as before a total pro, and always have a great catch up and laugh, and yes...he still looks like Sam Smith...but that aside, such a great guy and cannot recommend him enough, always produces top quality work, easy and fun to work with and always look forward to working with him.

I had a photoshoot with Ian today at Oak Studio in Horden which went amazingly!

It was my first time shooting in a studio and I was pretty nervous about it beforehand but Ian was so easy going and very welcoming which allowed me to quickly settle into the shoot. Ian was very professional throughout the shoot and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND working with him.

I am really excited to see the final edits as the raw photos look amazing already! Ian had the raw images to me within a few hours of the shoot ending which is really nice!

I am looking forward to many more shoots with Ian!

Ian was early to the shoot location (as was I) which was great as we had time for a little chat before getting started.

We shot on location, a mixture of roller skates, river, and graffiti wall shots.

I really enjoyed my shoot with Ian, he was super chatty and gave me some great direction to ensure we got the best shots. He also showed me a lot of the shots on the camera between locations which was great!

I can’t wait to see the results!

I highly recommend working with Ian and hope we can work together again in the future.

I shot at an event where Ian needed some extra togs. Leading up to the event comms were perfect, everything I needed to know was provided in detail, it enabled me to deliver on the day. I would recommend any tog to work with Ian, it was easy, flexible and friendly.

Known Ian a long time and finally got to meet up on the Twisted Edge Splashpoint studio day, and what a great guy (just don’t mention Sam Smith 😉) - saw some back of camera pics and spot on work that I couldn’t fault one bit, all the models enjoyed working with him and all would again, such a great eye and absolutely recommended.

Ian was at a group shoot for twisted edge magazine which was at splash point. I worked with him the most and we got a good few sets in. The shoot was fun a free flowing. Ian travelled to where I was staying which was around an hour away.
