After being a fan of Terrys work for some years now and coveting his portfolio relentlessly I was over the moon when he said "let's shoot something" We spent the day shooting a real mix of style and themes while keeping the day very chilled and relaxed and having a natter about photography and our aims. Terry is a real laugh and great fun to work with. He has a very clear vision of the shots he wants to capture and getting that vision across. I saw the photos briefly on the back of the camera and was excited to see the finished results. I have now seen the photos from that day and their mind blowingly good, I feel spoilt for choice on which to post first, so excited.

I wouldn't hesitate on shooting with Terry again and of course I highly recommend shooting with him if you get the chance.

I’m so happy to finally say I’ve shot with Terry King!... Yasssssss!!

Terry and I had been speaking for a while wanting so arrange a shoot, so you can imagine I was really excited when we got a date in the calendar!!

Although Terry’s work is absolutely outstanding, he’s an incredible modest man. Charming, friendly, with a calming energy. A truly lovely gent. He’s a perfectionist (as you can tell from his work) and has a very creative eye. So you know, without a doubt you’re going to make some amazing images together!

I’ve loved every single image we’ve done together and one has already been an FPI!!

I cannot recommend terry enough... he’s fabulous!!

I recently Had a chance to work with Terry in Portugal for 5 days!

I always know I'll enjoy shooting with Terry tootling around between beautiful locations where nature rules! He is someone I hope to continue working with again and again! I always feel that my efforts are very appreciated while modelling as he is so kind and encouraging - enthusiastic about what he sees through the lens. He tries to capture beautiful moments in settings related to myth, history or natural beauty, and that is something I find a pleasure to be involved with. I look forward to the next!

Had a really creative and enjoyable shoot with Terry at my place on Monday. I've shot with Terry three times now and each was totally different in terms of style but always love working with him. This time, we focused on beauty, getting creative with makeup, jewellery and lighting to create 4 or 5 completely different looks within one space and a short time!

Terry has a natural eye for photography and flair for making an image really pop, and despite what style he works around, this shines through in all his work. He pays attention to detail, and acknowledges all aspects of a brilliant image - not just posing and lighting, but styling, overall mood, little tweaks and angles that make all the difference. He has a natural talent for creating something that he has set out to do, without being too rigid - if something cool and unexpected pops up, he will run with it, and his knowledge of the technical sides of photography shows in his ability to be versatile and experimentative.

As a person, Terry is really easy to work with. He is straight up and genuine, relaxed, and an all round decent guy. He is organised, his precomms are great, and he shows up on time ready to shoot.

Another spectacular shoot with Terry, this time for two days in Plymouth! Terry was a great hosts over the few nights we had down there, with locations well organised and planned out. We captured some epic photos, and I was grateful to Terry for direction for making the shots extra special.

Terry is a lovely kind photographer (apart from the fact he’s obviously extremely talented too) and you can tell he’s in an ongoing pursuit to be creative and experiment. I had a nice relaxed shoot with him at his place while I visited Colchester. Terry knows what kind of image he is looking for, yet leaves room for surprising himself and trying new things.

I would work woth him anytime! Thanks, Terry!

Last year when I toured the UK I had the chance to work with the inimitable Terry King. Not only does he have a fabulous portfolio and great talent in both photography and retouching, he was also an enjoyable person to be around, very prepared for our shoot and great with communication. I had a fantastic time working with Terry. He was also gracious enough to host me for a night while I was travelling, which was very kind.

I hope to work with him again and can happily recommend him to others!

Had a lovely first shoot with Terry.

Pre coms and booking the shoot was very good, especially the morning of the shoot when there was confusion over the station I needed to go to... thank God for phones! :P

Terry was super lovely and chatty throughout the shoot. Nothing was rushed and we took our time through each set, and even tried some video work which I cannot wait to see! Terry is very patient, super with lighting and also very good at directing when you get a bit stuck!

The shots looked awesome on the back of camera and I am super super excited about seeing the final edits and what magic he has created :D

I had a Shoot with Terry at The Hacienda, London, both having pictures with him on my own, and also Modelling alongside the stunning Nicole Rayner. Coming into the Shoot I had seen Terry's amazing work and had heard a lot of great things about him. He certainly showed on the day why he is regarded along the very best out there, and I loved every minute of working with him.

Terry is very Professional and very friendly, easy to work with, and knows exactly what he is doing. We did a variety of images, ranging from suited and booted, right through to more sensual images alongside Nicole, and his skills for working through these ranges is clear to see. It is easy to see why so many people love what he does.

I would highly recommend Terry to anybody, and I would love to be able to work with him again in the future.

Had a second shoot with Terry King on my trip to UK and, as usual, he is a breeze to work with.

Terry is open to ideas, but has his own unique ideas on his own. Along with his perfectionism, professionalism and calm presence, he remains one of my favorite collaborators and an artist and person I admire greatly.

I worked with Terry in his home studio based in Colchester and my my what can I say? Terry simply blew me away! Not only is Terry a lovely and friendly person, he is extremely talented, highly professional and truly skilled at his craft; evident in the magnetic images that he constantly produces. I was in awe!

Upon shooting Terry worked very efficiently and with high energy which kept me enthused! His expertise and general ease for photography enabled us to shoot a wide variety of different looks, outfits, settings and moods. It was no less than impressive! From natural light portraiture to high end beauty shots, Terry pulled off with ease whilst still radiating a warm and welcoming persona. Throughout the shoot Terry was highly attentive ensuring I was comfortable and feeling confident in myself. He was just a joy to be around!

But Terry’s kindness and generosity didn’t stop at the shoot! Terry also managed to get our images published and the final results were simply amazing! I was over the moon! Terry truly is a very kind and lovely person but what’s more he is extremely talented and his work would be a credit to anybody’s portfolio (hey Kate Moss?!). I couldn’t recommend Mr Terry King enough! Warm, friendly, professional and talented!

Well, he's not called King for nothing. :) Had an epic, marathon session with Terry, experimenting with diverse sets and styles- initially, with fetish/art nude, then with ballet, and concluding with a late night shoot in a derelict location, which must have terminated around midnight. Terry kindly let me stay overnight to recuperate from what was a taxing but highly productive shoot. We generated a superabundance, an absolute plethora, of quality images, so much so that I'm finding it tricky to not over-enthusiastically "love" too many on Lightroom. My sole regret is that we didn't get to do absolutely everything we'd mentioned in pre-shoot communications, but that is often the nature of photoshoots- time is always too short.

Terry is certainly one of the best photographers on here, and one of the best I've had the pleasure to shoot with. Highly recommended, and I hope we will work together again. Thank You, Terry. :) x

Fantastic shoot with terry last weekend :) he really is the King of photography! I had been waiting a long time to shoot with this enigma and he didn't disappoint. Terry aside from being the top of his game is down to earth funny and generally is a really nice guy! It was a pleasure to have a chat with him and he listened to my continual twittering for hours so aside from his other talents he really deserves a medal for that ;) looking forward to next time! Sunday I had probably the best shoot I ever had with this amazing photographer. I was following him since ages so I really couldn't wait for it.

I've arrived in Colchester on saturday night and Terry was straight away really friendly with me and we had a long chat about what we were going to do the next day, and about photography in general. On sunday morning we travelled to this unreal location next to the sea, surrounded by a forest. It really looked like an australian lagoon! We worked most of the day there and then we finished with some shots in his place. Everything was perfect, including the weather.

Great pre-communication and shoot connection. Terry is not only one of my favorite photographer on purpleport, and in my opinion one of the best in the country, but he is also a lovely person, very professional and creative. I really enjoyed those two days a lot, it couldn't be better. I wish I could work everytime with people like him. I really hope we can work together in the future, fortunately for him I live far otherwise I would always press him for a new shoot :)

I shot with Terry On Saturday. He was very kind enough to pick me up form the station . He brought some beautiful flowers and we discussed some ideas and commenced with the shoot. He was very clear about what he wanted to shoot and guided me. We shot some beautiful images and I cannot wait to see them. Terry was very polite throught the shoot and a true gentleman. A true professional in every way. After the shoot he was kind enough to drive me back to the station so I can safely make my way back home. I really enjoyed our shoot and I hope this will be first of many.
