Just had my second&third awesome shoot with the lovely Mike, after the photography trip in Cyprus. This time we shot during my Studio Day at Kempston Studio and also at the home studio of photographer Zeus. Mike is always so talented and professional, always a pleasure to work with him. I really enjoyed our two shoots and I can’t wait to shoot again in the summer and in the next Cyprus’ trip.

Mike is an absolute diamond guy! I have known him for over 10 years and have been aboard with him 1-2-1 on trips.

I was delighted when Mike booked onto our photographic holiday, hosted by myself and Zeus .

Mike participated well in the shoots and got some lovely photographs in various locations. He was able to attend both sunrise and sunset shoots, and worked tirelessly in the heat at times.

Mike communicated well in the group, offering valauble support to other members, being a very experinced long term photographer.

Mike was also very pleasant around the models and we received good feedback regarding his compnay during this 6 day event.

Had a wonderful shoot with Mike! (and the worlds latest reference!)

Was so great to have a little catch up on life and everything feels so at ease!! We had a few obstacles during our shoot so we were unable to fully capture the ideas we initially had but Mike kept our spirits high and we were still able to take some cracking images with a little brain storming!!

Mike is as always friendly and respectful towards his models and left with some lovely looking images of Anna.

Great to welcome Mike to the studio for his shoot with Yohoi.

Mike was on time and although Yohoi was delayed in arriving Mike was respectful and polite to her during the shoot.

It was a pleasure to welcome Mike on his first visit to Two Wei. Excellent comms from the outset and a great conversationalist in person too!

Mike had worked with his model many times before and they got on extremely well during their time here so we're looking forward to seeing some of the images captured being uploaded on here.

Shooting with Mike was great! Precomms were great, I was comfortable and at ease throughout the shoot, he's easy going and happy to go back and forth slightly over an idea to get the shot right. (Perfect for my perfectionism;)

Iv been shooting with Mike for years now , it has to be at least 10 years haha!

Hes still as good behind the camera. He is really down to earth and an absolute gentlemen to work with . He has some great ideas and can use the light well . Were booked to work in the two wei studio soon , which i cant wait to see ! no doutb well get some cracking images !!

I'm outrageously late writing a reference for the last shoot Mike and I had (feels like waaaaayyyyyy to long ago, I really hope to catch up with this awesome gent again before too long!) But yes: 2022 was quite a crazy year, and even though the shoots and tours must go on - I refuse to skip references for truly lovely shoots I've had with great people. Mike being one photographer who I've enjoyed terrific productivity, chatter and good vibes with on several occasions now. 🤩

We worked together at Aura studio and basically went on an epic natural light marathon! 😁 The venue is known for it's huge windows and abundance of available light; when shooting in the same building in the past we would always do at least one set with the daylight, but this time we went for it full force. There were some sets in place when we arrived which we tucked straight into: mixing up some of the prop furniture with flowing materials and stunningly soft light honestly worked a treat! The images were really elegant and nothing like we'd shot before. Mike really nailed them! 🌟 A bit of fashion here, spot of lingerie there... Then it was time to harass some poor unsuspecting partial mannequins! 😆 So we've gone from elegant and artsy to really quite abstract and a bit mad literally in the blink of an eye. It was fantastic! Full credit to Mike for the fast adapting between sets and getting into the zone which composition for these very different looks, his creative eye smashed it on the day... And when he kindly sent me a link to the processed work after the shoot I can safely confirm that the fully cooked images were on fire too!

I was so pleased that Mike was available when I was passing on my tour, sometimes it's pot luck trying to match availability of when you're in someone's area... But he's the always on the top of my list to grab a shoot with when I tootle on down to Northamptonshire - and most definitely a good egg that I highly recommend to other models who find themselves in this area/are chatting to Mike about a shoot. I've already touched upon the consistent productivity then occurs when working with this gent, but also - he's delightful company! Really good natured, relaxed and easy going yet social and someone you can enjoy a right ole' chinwag and a laugh with as you work. 😊 He's a good soul to the core, take it from me... Respects his models, pulling all the stops to make sure they are happy and comfortable, delivering sound etiquette time and time again, fantastic pre-shoot communications that are always swift and really handy for a model whose head is exploding as they try to plan a tour! 😂

I always love working with Temptation photography - and I am certain you will too!
