Introduction

Hello lovely people. I am a Nottingham  based traditional mixed media artist, very much a growing amateur / hobbyist.  However I am also beginning to explore photography / editing. My art is primarily focused on portraits and nudes, however I also have a soft spot for wildlife art and history.

What I am looking for

Not being the most experienced with photography. I am looking primarily to work with people comfortable with working with people new to this. I prefer to work from my own reference photographs, however I sometimes will try my hand working with life models.

Project Ideas

Pre-Raphaelite Inspired composition

I have a project in mind to explore Pre-Raphaelite style work in traditional, photographic, and mixed mediums. If you have a similar love for this theme then feel free to get in touch to discuss ideas. 

 

"Ancient portraiture and scenes"

A project I have in mind is "ancient portraiture and scenes", in which we would try to recreate art reminiscent of ancient art and ancient inspired art. Think Ancient Greece and Egyptomania. 

 

Portrait Photography

I would like to develop my photography and editing skills more, particularly with regards to portraiture. I would appreciate the experience of collaborating with a model with experience to learn from and  bring ideas to the table.

 

More about me

I have previously worked with a regular muse who helped encourage me with ideas and to grow as an artist. Unfortunately she is no longer with us, but I would very much like to find another muse some day with the right person.

I also travel allot and would like to start collaborating on my travels.
