Had my first shoot with Matt today and it went really well!

We shot at a country park with no complete set plan - just wanted to see where the day took us!

He made me feel comfortable straight away, was easy to chat to, listened to my ideas and brought his own too, he let me do my own thing but also gave direction when needed and checked I was okay throughout the shoot!

Overall the shoot went very well and we were even planning our next at the end! Thankyou for a great shoot - can't wait to see the pics! :) I highly recommend matt to future models!

I've been a fan of Matt's work for years so when I moved to Southsea and he applied to my casting I was really pleased that we finally got a date in the diary, and he did not disappoint. Matt has a dry sense of humour like me so I felt immediately at ease and we could have a real laugh. He is an extremely down to earth bloke with a great sense of humour and a wonderful professional model etiquette. The 2 hours flew by with a lot of laughter, chat and of course some lovely photos!

We are already planning our next shoot, so neither of us can be too awful, right? Super highly recommended from me x

Second shoot with Matt! I responded to his casting about last minute shooting and met him at his home set up in Taunton and planned out what we wanted to shoot! Again, it was a pleasure working with him and we got a variety of wonderful pictures on the shoot!

So I see a casting pop up...urgent model needed as he had been let down! Never worked with Matt before...but saw good references! Anyway rocked up and felt totally at ease. He has the same sense of humour as me and I had a good old laugh. Matt offered to give me some images at the end of the day..literally a hour later ping mega awesome images come through! He is a good photographer...I recommend highly. He even put yellow face paint on me haha. Anyway yes I recommend Matt. All I all happy. :)

I booked Matt and his studio for a one on one tuition session and I have to say I had a great day. Matt covered a huge amount of information before, during and after the shoot.

Before the shoot Matt explained a lot about the process of booking and working with models and how to be yourself during a shoot. He was on hand during the shoot to offer advice when needed, but also stepped back to allow me time to work with the model myself and try and find my feet whilst shooting. After the shoot we went through some basics of post production and using Photoshop and Lightroom.

Matts way of teaching is very relaxed and his sense of humour is awesome and really helped me relax into the day.

I would highly recommend Matt for any photographers new and old, who want to learn, refresh, improve as photographers. I am looking forward to doing more shoots with Matt,

I applied to model on one of Matt's tutorials and had an enjoyable time. The pre-communications were excellent, and Matt is very easy to get along with, he also offers excellent advice if needed. I also got on well with Matt's client, he was a lovely fellow and I think he would do well. I would happily recommend Matt to other models.

Attended one of Matt's training courses yesterday at his NoF8 studio based in Norfolk a county with big open skies... I wanted to improve my model photography especially environmental and 'in the landscape' and his short training session was perfect. Matt sure knows his stuff and passes over his vast knowledge and experience with ease and authority. I came away from his session feeling that I had learned a great deal and gained the confidence to take this style forward in my own portfolio. I thoroughly recommend Matt and his training to anybody.

Completely lives up to his nickname, showing his mastery of the camera and the lighting equipment he effortlessly uses...he's got an eye for scenes and directs perfectly, a professional in every sense of the word with a superb sense of humour that got me every time 😀

I had such an amazing day shooting with this epic human, Matt is one of the best I've worked with this year, he is a photographer who knows how to get the best out of a shoot and is so very easy to have a laugh with too!

Had a lovely shoot with Matt at my home - felt comfortable in his company and he delivered some awesome edits at breakneck speed! Very productive shoot, and he kindly shot some of my jewellery designs, which we were able to incorporate, with some of the ideas we'd discussed before the shoot.
