Hello I’m Tara and welcome to my page, 

 

My body of work and background:

I am a part time model with over 5 years experience modelling for Independent clothing brands in Bristol and surrounding areas. Alongside this I have my own business called: RAVE SOS promoting and selling clothing/merchandise for brands revolving around the Underground music scene. I am a confident, passionate creative who love’s self-portraiture and experimenting with different styles. Music is my love language and has driven me to become a part time DJ.

I am based in Cinderford, A picturesque small town in The Forest of Dean. There are lots of beautiful spots perfect for seasonal shoots however I am more than happy to travel to other areas by public transport. I also do a lot of work in Bristol and travel there frequently. 

I am extremely passionate about my work: I am confident, versatile and I am always willing to experiment with different styles.

I love expressing myself through clothing and I have so many clothing/makeup styles I am eager to try. I am a very expressional person in terms of my facial expressions and body gestures and I love working with brightly coloured neon lighting. 

 

My strengths:

Dramatic, atmospheric, expressive, juxtapose and versatile shooting style.

 I can adapt to any situation.

I have a variety of image styles and I am willing to explore other areas where I’m lacking

Experience in alternative shoots, lingerie and seasonal shots.  

I have lots of different style shooting ideas that I would love to share.

I love having creative control of outfits and props to be used for a shoot as I am a very diverse designer and I can do my own makeup to match the outfit/shoot style

Alternatively would be happy to give someone else the creative control and explore more traditional shoots.

I am a serious hype woman and in all my shoots with other people I make it my mission to make them feel comfortable, confident and embraced. My work is a balance of individual portraiture and group shoots. 

 

I have a very petite frame slim/toned yet curvaceous in the right places. I eat a very healthy strict diet and always make an effort to take care of my body. Typically in the modelling industry you are required to be tall and I am short (being 5ft1) but this never stops me from modelling  as I strive to rebel against typical beauty standards to embrace flaws, self love of my lady landscape and individuality. 

 

Areas I’m lacking: 

• I have never done wedding or fitness modelling but I wouldn't mind exploring these styles. 

 

I may be new to Purpleport but I have a lot of experience especially in clothing shoots for alternative independent brands ie: Bellisa X Clothing and Moomar Clothing. 

As a solid rule/boundary I don’t shoot in the nude but willing to do lingerie. In order to make myself feel comfortable I would like to shoot with you at least once before we did a lingerie shoot. Examples of my comfortability levels are foreshadowed by my portfolio. 

 

Shoots, requirements and availability: 

I charge a flat rate of £20 per hour. (2 hour minimum per booking)

If you were to book for the whole day or half a day I am happy to offer a discounted rate. 

       Full day: £180       Half day: £100

 

(For a booking that is outside a 30 minute drive from my location) : I require a contribution to my travel expenses as I don't drive.

I am available throughout Tuesday - Thursday

I can sometimes do Fridays & Saturdays (If I’m not working)   

For the first time shooting with a photographer: I would like to check references in advance.
