My dad gave me his Argus 35mm viewfinder camera in the summer of 1974, and luckily, funded film and developing and printing. I've been taking photographs ever since. Photography is one of my few creative outlets/endeavors. I consider myself a "serious amateur" - doing my best to create some art now and then. I bought a 1st generation Nikon D-100 in 2001, and have gone through a few since then. Wow, that was almost 20 years ago. I've got a good selection of Lowell (very) hot lights - hey, I bought them when I lived in the mountains in Colorado - so the heat was a good thing. I just recently bought an LED ring-light.
