I shot with Rich earlier this week alongside my beautiful friend and fellow model Ayla Rose at The Loft Studio, Colchester. Rich had brought along his fellow friend and newbie photographer Duncan.

I was running late due to a series of unfortunate events and on arrival the guys were so friendly and welcoming I immediately forgot my stresses.

Rich came prepared with a mood board of ideas for the shoot and we very casually worked our way through them all. Rich and Duncan took turns to shoot and it never felt like a paparazzi style shoot or anything like that. Both guys were very respectful and even when there were images a little too explicit at times due to the adventurous nature of the poses myself and Ayla were doing, Rich was more than happy to delete them and re shoot if necessary.

I worked with Richard for the second time at The Loft studio in Colchester, we were joined by Tillie model and Richard brought along one of his students he was mentoring on photography.

Richards pre comms were excellent and he sent over a moodboard for me and Tillie to pose towards. This was perfect because it meant we knew exactly what kind of thing we were all aiming for.

On the day both Richard and Duncan took some stunning images, the lighting was gorgeous and they worked hard to create art!

Richard is good fun, chatty, honest and open. I love the banter with him and the way he relates to the models.

Overall a fantastic day and a highlight of my month!

I worked with Rich again on a recent tour and had such a blast! Whenever we work together it is like catching up with an old friend! Rich had very kindly booked a hotel room for the shoot- Now I am always a little dubious about how spacious hotel rooms are and the suitability but this room was great and had everything we needed, with lovely light and a neutral setting for most of the shoot- until we needed the studio lights! :)

Rich is so organised and such a pro in photography, often teaching to students. I absoluely LOVED the results we achieved together on this shoot-especalley the natural light images and the "mirror" based images which were stunning. I think we achieved some of our best work together this day! Rich was very kind to send me a copy of these beuatiful photos and was such a gent!

I really enjoyed the shoot and went away smiling which is usually a very good sign! :) Thanks so much Rich and here is to 2018! Highly recommended, Helen x

I had my first shoot with Richard on Sunday the 12th, and already cannot wait to have another. Despite the cold we both powered through and worked well together to achieve some amazing shots. Richard was so comforting and always full of compliments helping me gain more confidence as the shoot went on. I very much enjoyed myself and would always highly recommend Richard for a shoot. Plus he baught me hot chocolate to help warm me up 😊. Had a great time and will look forward to seeing Richard again.

I worked with the lovely Rich again during a recent tour to the area where he very kindly booked me for half a day! Rich and I have worked together a few times now so I know exactly what to expect! :P We always get on like a house on fire and have a great shoot full of laughter and banter- its like shooting with an old friend!

We did a mixture of location, cafe style shots and home shoots during the half day and have such a lovely catch up. Rich is really good at capturing a model when they are relaxed- he believes in having fun and making a connection which always shows in the photos. He also treated me to lunch which was very kind of him- I really hope we can work together again soon on my next trip and look forward to the uploads! Highly recommended to all, Helen x

Richard and I had a great shoot around Cambridge :)

Excellent pre-shoot comms, I knew exactly what to bring with me and we worked out together best places to shoot, having a fabulous time in the college grounds! I chatted too much (as per usual) but we still managed to get some lovely images, using the natural light. Richard is a professional, ensuring models are happy, taking breaks as required and ensuring the shoot is fun! Many thanks again and highly recommended!

Had a excellent shoot with Richard in a forest shooting outside in the nice summer weather marking shoot number five between us. Like always Richard collected me from my home taking me to the shoot location. I always feel safe with Richard weather shooting inside or outside. As always very good communication before shoot and during ahoot we can chat and laugh. Looking at the back of the camera we got some good images can't wait for shoot number six x

Richard very kindly booked me super short notice whilst I was visiting the area and staying in an apartment nearby! It was so lovely shooting together again and catching up! Richard is such great company, the shoot was very relaxed, full of laughter and banter and I thoroughly enjoyed myself!

We also had time to have a very spontaneous lunch together and I wish we had the full day, I went away smiling :) The shoot itself was great fun and productive as the apartment was larger than I had anticipated with lots of shooting potential and a very large windowsill which was perfect for natural light shots. Richard is such a gent to work with, very respectful and kind and the shoots always have plenty of breaks.

On top of this,he is a truly lovely person. Highly recommended and really hope to work together again soon! Helen x

Yesterday I modelled for Richard and a group of his City and Guilds Photography students.

Everybody was lovely and I had a brilliant time!

We had discussed the looks we were aiming for in pre-comms and the time flew by very quickly.

Recommended and would certainly work with Richard again.

I'm not going to lie, todays shoot has been second to none and an absolutely refreshing change! I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Richard once again and his hospitality and welcome approach is a lesson many people could take from him. He is professional yet down to earth and a totally genuine person. After 9 years of modelling in the industry I can't say I have laughed so much as I have today with many people. Shooting with Richard is not a chore but rather a pleasure. Thank you for being wonderful!

I worked with Richard for the first time while on my tour in Essexs last week, and wow.

Richard was a joy to work with and he really does just lighten up your day. We giggled our way through a number of sets and the morning just flew in! Richards communication before and during the shoot was brilliant and I can only recommend him!

I worked with Richard again at Thurston Lodge in Suffolk for for hours, Richards pre comms were excellent and he was very understand when I needed to finish earlier.

Like before we had an excellent shoot and I love Richards vibe as he is so easy to work alongside, he came brimming with ideas and there was a great flow plus lots of fun!

I would highly reccomend Richard and look forward to shooting with him again

Working with Richard brings words like wow and awesome from me. We shot at an amazing Georgian property and it was such a wonderful day. He gave direction perfectly and allowed me to add my own ideas and style whenever needed. He has a great way of communicating his ideas (and the technology to do it easily!) We shot so many great ideas and I cannot wait to work with him again! Highly recommend!

Had my first shoot with Richard at my house today.

He arrived bang on time & his pre shoot comms were good.

Richard is such a lovely man & such a good photographer.

He was kind & considerate & his direction was so good!

The 4 hour shoot seemed more like 30 mins!

I am so keen to see images as they will be great!

Highly recommended to all models. I really hope to be shooting with Richard again real soon

I worked with Richard recently again- this time on a recent trip to the Essex area! Richard was so so kind to respond to a last minute casting call of mine- as I found myself with a free day in the middle of a tour and nothing to do! The shoot was arranged at super short notice the evening before- and we were just so lucky on the day as the weather was gorgeous! Richard suggested visiting Walton on the Naze and we braved it on the coast, experimenting with some gorgeous art nudes in the sand/pebbles and sea!

We were very lucky and managed to avoid being seen most of the time as the little beachs and coves running up the coast were quite secluded in places, so we could see if anyone was coming in advance! We were caught out a few times which evolved into great laughter- luckily the locals were not insulted! :P The photos were absolutely beautiful and Richard is such a joy to work with- very laid back, lets the model be free and expressive as they wish- and is a gentleman to work with.

I had such a fantastic few hours and it really made the day! Richard was also very kind to share the photos with me afterwards which were just so awesome- so many lovely outtakes of me smiling and laughing also! It was so nice to get out of the studio and shoot on location! Thankyou so much for a lovely day, we must do it again soon! Highly recommended, Helen x

I worked with the lovely Richard on a recent tour of the area and had such a great time! It was our first time working together and he made me feel so welcome! We worked together in his beautiful home and I felt safe and very comfortable.

Richard is kind and a great host, always making sure that the model is comfortable and has plenty of refreshments. I loved the images we achieved together, working through portraits to art nude. Richard is really relaxed to work with, it doesnt feel like work and thats the way photography should be! The half day flew by and I went away smiling! Had My Forth shoot with Richard today working outside again on location in lakeside. Richard arrived on time to pick me up from my home to take us to the location. We had a very fun shoot chatting and laughing as well as producing some very good images from what i saw on back of camera and when i got home looking on laptop. Very Good communication before shoot as always, he also paid me a deposit again to secure booking. In all Richard is a professional photographer and respects models levels. cant wait to see you in december for are firth shoot X Recommended X
