I had a really enjoyable shoot with Tom a couple weeks ago....we shot some natural/relaxed portraiture in and around my flat in Bristol. He is a super chilled and relaxed photographer, easy to work with and full of ideas.

Time flew by and we achieved loads.

I had a very enjoyable shoot with Tom on Saturday in and around Bath. He met me from the station and took me to a photogenic little cafe for a drink and a chat before we got started. Tom is very easy to talk to and he captured some beautifully relaxed shots as we sat on the balcony - it didn't really feel like work at all! After that we moved on to the botanical gardens and finally another cafe for late lunch and an ice-cream - what a gentleman! I found Tom to be chatty, relaxed and genuine with a knack for capturing just the right moment. I'd absolutely recommend him and hope we can shoot again in the future!

Had a wonderfully sunny headshot shoot with Tom; he was very professional, super friendly and a delight to get on with. He knows how to get the images we were looking for quickly, and his communication before and on the shoot were faultless. I'm really happy with the photos and I'm looking forward to our next shoot together :) Highly recommended!

This was my third shoot with Tom. He is very professional and friendly. Always super prepared with head full of ideas.

This time we did family photos with me and my children, they loved him and he seemed to enjoy their company too haha! Would always recommend him to anyone!

Had my first shoot with Tom and went very smoothly. Tom is super friendly and easy to talk to. We shot portraits at his flat where he had a variety of light setups. Tom edited the images on the same day and has added great variety of portraits and headshots to my portfolio. Excellent shoot, and looking forward to more collaborations.

I shot with Tom the other day. Really lovely guy to work with! His precomms are great and during the shoot works really well to effectively collaborate. Tom made me feel at ease and gave some of the best directions ever to help with posing. The photos are gorgeous and I would fully recommend Tom to anyone who’s after some fantastic portraits shots! :)

Did a shoot with Tom last night at Pau house, he was kind enough to collect me from the station and take me back home.

I already knew him from the Bristol socials so I was excited to finally shoot with him which was indeed fun filled and interesting.

Tom is absolutely lovely, he has the sort of personality that will get on with everybody.

He is so funny and yes he took a few sneaky selfies when I left my phone unattended but I still would highly recommend him ;)

Had my first shoot with Tom last weekend and highly recommend him! He made me feel very comfortable, we talked about absolutely anything whilst he captured my expressions throughout our conversations - he pulled out some fantastic images! The set up was as though I was just having a pint with a friend in a pub booth using the natural lighting from the window. As a story writer I really loved the his aim of capturing the genuine character of people being their true selves. I look forward to working together again :)

I had my second shoot with Tom today, so we could both experiment with the ideas we discussed on the first shoot we had. He is amazing at getting an array of flawless shots in each of the poses and styles so quickly and professionally, while also making it one of the most fun shoots I have had! Had time to try out far more than just our initial ideas, even with time to spare. Can't wait to post them on my profile and arrange our next shoot!

When Tom Parker recently contacted me expressing an interest in working with me I looked at the situation with an open mind. He didn't have a huge Portfolio of work but his style was different.

Whilst most shoots have a narrative behind the images. His pictures simply had a moment, people simply being themselves at the time. So I was intrigued to see how he might capture me.

It just so happened that not long after conversing online we met at the Bristol Modelling social. Tom is friendly guy and we spoke for a while, including discussion for the shoot itself which essentially felt as natural as arranging to meet a friend for a drink.

Upon the evening in question we sat in the ambient lit setting of a pub discussing various topics whilst Tom held a camera and occasionally captured a moment. There we no light stands, reflectors or cues to hold a pose!

We then moved onto a second, slightly more lavish venue and did more of the same.

The results were remarkable. What was captured were moments of me in a state of enjoyment, relaxation and thought. This was Matriix playing a different role for once, the role that we are all born to play.. Ourselves!

It was an honest pleasure to work with Tom and is no surprise that other models (people) work with him again. I will also be doing so. He is highly recommended by me.

Tom was actually the first person I met through PurplePort! I was looking forward to the shoot from the offset as he had a very professional yet welcoming approach to communicating and arranging things. From reading other references I wasn't surprised how chilled the shoot was, trying various bars and coffee places to get the best shots while still having a chat about anything and everything. We agreed initially on a simple portrait shoot, but fortunately had enough time to explore other things too. Turned out to be both a fun and productive day! Have already arranged our next shoot and I am very excited to explore the ideas we have discussed! Very highly recommended.

I have worked with Tom 2 and a half times now, as strange as that sounds, we met at a model and photography social in Bristol where he told me he specialised in portraiture. He was holding a camera, so I said, 'ok, show me.' Tom took a few snaps, and produced one of my all time favourite photos!

Since then we have worked together two more times, once in a pub and another in his flat, and every time I have work with Tom, not only has he been very comfortable to work with, he is professional yet down to earth, relaxed, and excellent at what he does. I have walked away from a Shoot every time where Tom has always got a good number of shots exceeding my expectations. I would highly recommend working with Tom! *****

I had such a fun shoot with Tom, I am not used to having such candid unposed photos taken but he made me feel really relaxed really fast, it was a lot of fun and I am so happy with the pictures too which he got to me super quick! He has such a unique style and I hope to work with him again :)
