Based on a true story of a 18 year old wild girl that was found in the forrests around Zwolle in 1717. After the authoraties caught here and she was send to stay with the widow of Van Orten they noticed she made a short crucifix gesture before eating... this triggered them to find the parrents...

eventually the parents of this gril where found. Her name was Anna Maria Jennaert, and she was kidnapt at the age of one and a half years old in Antwerp.

Thanks to the story that was headlined in many international papers she was reunited with her parents.
