Shooting with Sven this weekend was an amazing experience and one that really emotionally moved me!

Prior to my visit his communication was great and things were really easy to organise. On the day of the shoot he met me at Brussels station and navigated the metro with me to get to the apartment we were shooting in.

I love to be super organised and we'll prepared so was thrilled when Sven pulled out a plan for the day! He had so many ideas in mind and together we created so much! (I don't think I've ever utilised an apartment so well before!) We shot all sorts from silhouettes to contorted art nude shapes, to athletic poses and finally onto some emotive portraiture.

Sven has a really unique style and a great eye for capturing things in a very creative way, using every bit of available light to his advantage!

The shoot was loads of fun and he was careful to split up the very strenuous work, give me plenty of breaks and even bring snack but the part of the shoot that I doubt I'll ever forget was our final series.

We had created together some emotive shots throughout the day and towards the end began to focus on meloncolic portraits. Sven put on some music and let me move and flow with the feeling, the first set came out great and after only a few hours of working together I felt very comfortable and expressive around him so proposed that I choose the music for some very deep and real emotion to which he agreed. I moved and flowed with the music and it brought me to tears, exploring a very personal part of my past on camera. I sobbed as I moved and Sven very respectfully captured it all so beautifully. It's not often that you feel so comfortable after just meeting someone for a day that you are able to be so emotionally raw and vulnerable in front of them but it made for some really powerful shots and an experience I won't forget.

I can't thank Sven enough for creating with me in this way (and all the other ways we explored too) and I look forward to seeing the results. I'd love to work with Sven again and will definitely be making plans to come back to Belgium after such a productive first shoot together! Very happy to recommend him to other models also :)

I had the pleasure of creating and traveling with Sven for a week during a workshop in Iceland this summer.

Sven is very professional, well prepared and really wonderful to collaborate with. I had such an enjoyable time shooting with him and I am incredibly happy with the images we created. Do not miss out on working with this wonderful artist, highly recommended!

He is a friendly, fun guy that is straight forward, which is nice. He had plenty of creative ideas and gave directions to guide me with posing, thereby constantly keeping my levels in mind. Also, he was open for my suggestions. And he has music on during the shoot which was nice :).

I recommend working with Sven and would definitely work with him again.

I definitely recommend Sven Lori. I have worked with him once and that was a very pleasant shoot, Sven really takes care of the model and that is really nice, he is also straight forward and fair and easy to work with. The images afterwords are also very artistic and strong.

Our second time, he had to cancel due to unfortunate events and did not hesitate to pay the cancelation fee. Of course I added extra time to our booking for the next time - this is exactly how it should be working together. 👌
