After a few years away from photography I've decided to have another crack at it (hence the large 6 year gap in my references).

Hi and thanks for having a look at my profile! I'm a published, professional artist and tattooist from just outside Winchester, Hampshire. I have been doing freelance work as a custom painter and airbrush artist for years and I have been a full time tattooist for over 9 years now.

I started in photography in 2012 and have done many shoots with some incredible models over the years. Most recently though, I have decided to concentrate on my paintings rather than photography. As a result I tend to just shoot my own reference photos for use in my paintings rather than trying to make it as a "photographer" on top of everything else. I'll shoot pretty much anything and everything, but I LOVE pin-up, fantasy, horror, steam punk, sci-fi, cosplay and art nude styles as these are the styles of artwork I like to paint. 

When I get an idea for a painting I find a model who has the right look for the idea in mind and contact them asking if they fancy shooting some reference images and describe the idea I have. If they like the idea we organise a shoot in the usual way and I pay the model at his/her going rate. I may require a release form to be signed as prints and the original painting will be sold at some point. If you would like to be painted by me please give me a yell and we will see what we can come up with. Don't let distance put you off either, as I am producing paintings and using the actual shot images as a reference only, I don't require everything in the photo to be perfect. I can work from a good quality phone selfie taken in a hallway if need be lol. As long as the lighting is good the background/setting is unimportant to me. This frees me up to work with anyone from all over the world as we can shoot what I need remotely if need be. We don't actually ever need to meet in person if it isn't possible.

I'm a tattooist by day so I can also offer a "time for ink" deal sometimes (if the bank manager allows lol). So if you're a model who wants some new ink and fancies being in one of my paintings, drop me a message and maybe we can strike up a tattoo/shoot swap?
