I enjoyed an excellent shoot with the lovely Susie Rose at her home. All pre-shoot comms were clear. Susie was very patient when I arrived a little late - bad traffic and (a warning ... ) difficulty in finding a parking place. But once we started time passed swiftly. I was really pleased with the images that we created. Susie poses very well with minimal direction. I very much look forward to my next shoot with Susie.

Susie travelled all the way from Bristol to Winsford to shoot with me at Studio De Lumiere and we cranked out a fantastic array of images :)

Susie arrived right on time with an amazing array of impactful outfits and some pretty special accessories. Of course, Susie is a walking work of art anyway, with some fantastic, bold body art, and on this day, bright blue hair :)

I absolutely adore working with models who have their own artistic vision, and Susie has developed a look that I really like. We rattled through several outfit variations to start with and got a load of useable shots in a short time - due to Susie's fluid and thoughtful posing, adopting a main attitude, and then cycling through small tweaks and larger variations. Susie also takes direction really well - understands where she needs to be, where her light is and the nature of small adjustments.

Susie worked really hard to perfect each image from our first set to the last, on a very hot day, where we had to work with the doors and windows closed for a lot of the time to eliminate air currents in the fog. She just dives straight in to get the shots done and we even finished more or less on schedule!

Susie doesn't have any airs and graces - and is open and direct about what she wants - whether it's an image or lunch :) She is an absolute delight to work with: practical and resourceful! The shoot flew by in a blur with the usual scene of devastation in the studio at the end.

We had such an effective and productive shoot and I highly recommend Susie for your creative projects!

An excellent shoot today with Susie Rose. Lots of outfits and using 3 locations in her place later I have lots of excellent shots. Susie posed well without directions and also helped me pursue a few ideas I had. Throughout the shoot she was very professional and helped me with the levels. I hope that we get the chance to shoot again.

Today was a good day. Working with Susie Rose was so positive. Her styling was on point with great make-up and outfit choices, and of course the Ashnikko hair. She brought great attitude and ideas to the collaboration and was really willing to throw herself into the intent of the shoot. Outdoors, with trees, water and mud - nothing seemed to phase her. And she was patient with me while I faffed about with lenses. She posed so well without direction but also was happy to be directed. I'm still going through the photos but I'm very happy with them so far. I'd very happily work with Susie again if the opportunity presented itself.

I had my first shoot with Susie recently. She arrived on time at the railway station and I picked her up ready for a three hour shoot at my home studio.

After a coffee and a chat about the shoot we got started.

Susie has a fantastic style and makes the most of it. With her very distinctive colour hair and very powerful facial features we got some great images.

We worked form fashion to lingerie and even managed some shots in the garden as the weather was good. First time garden shots for me this year.

Susie poses with great style and without any direction.

In the evening Susie was the model for the portrait group I run. She chose to do a punk theme and absolutely nailed it.

I'd been particularly looking forward to this shoot and was not disappointed.

Susie Rose has a unique look and is very body confident. Posed without direction and often anticipated requests. Amazing range of expressions and amazing use of hands to emphasise the pose. A real gem. We did lots of sets, still scouring results but have left some ideas for next time.

Had an excellent session with Susie in answer to her casting for a woodland shoot.

I selected a wood I had shot in before, and arranged a meet at the local station. All went well, and I had a great shoot. We had both been wanting to get outdoors, the weather has not been good recently, but today was just fine. Light wind and sunny periods.

Susie is relaxing to work with, didn't need any instructions from me.

I can definitely recommend Susie.

First, shoot with the wonderful Susie, it was a woodland location shoot and the day started off with a light dusting of snow, and then freezing rain most of the day, despite the conditions we still got some wonderful shots that I am very, very happy with 🙂

Susie is great at poses, she has wonderful facial expressions and really creative with her hands, top makeup, and hair, great outfit, and she took my ideas and really brought them to life, with her great imagination.

Would recommend Susie in a big way, had a wonderful time, thanks, Susie.

Had my first shoot with Susie Rose today and while I don’t usually shoot at this time of the year I’m there than the odd remote shoot I’m glad I worked with her.

Despite the cold and wet weather she didn’t complain once and braved the cold water like a trooper. (I had to stand in the river myself so I know it really was cold. And slippery.)

I’m looking forward to working with her again, but in summer and probably more in a wooded area that’s not as cold and slippery. Or maybe even a boudoir session.

There were Great vibes all around. Good humans are pretty hard to come by and I found one! Susie is an absolute pleasure to work with and it felt like we had worked together before or that we knew each other. The shoot itself was a real good blend of fun, team work but yet also chilled. It was a very comfortable environment. I legit can't wait to 'hang out' with Susie again and see what we capture next time!

2nd shoot and we most definitely seem to have a certain vibe down between us! Absolutely perfect person to create with, and fast becoming my favourite model to shoot. Creative and experimental, with the most epic set of eyes!! When it works, it really does work... I now have the terrible task of considering where n what we do next!
