Gem is a delight to work with and extremely professional. Her work, for our genre, provides a subtlety that we require. Gem is also very business like in her approach which I found extremely refreshing in terms of comms and terms of service documentation. Turnaround times were very good and Gem went out of her way for a few of my images when she didn’t have to. Highly recommended.

Gem has been a great help to me with my photography over the last two years. I have not had the time to learn Lightroom or Photoshop because of other commitments and Gem has been superb as being my mentor in assisting with a lot of my editing on images. I attended one of her 1-2-1 workshops towards the end of last year which I found invaluable. Easy going and highly informative her tuition was really helpful. Her costs for photographic workshops are very reasonable compared to some others in the market place.

Gem did an amazing job retouching a fashion shot for me and doing some very detailed corrections. The speed of turnaround was fantastic as was the regular and friendly communication throughout. Subtle Retouch’s work lives up to the name and I will definitely be coming back to benefit from Gem’s expertise again. Excellent work and keenly priced, highly recommended.

Having never used anyone to re-touch images previously, I trawled through PP and came across Gemma's work and like what I saw.

After contacting her initially with a very vague explanation of what I wanted, I was VERY impressed with the prompt reponse, along with some guidelines as to what to expect and what I was likely to receive.

Needless to say, Gemma's comms are excellent and having received the final re-touched images today, I can safely say that both I and my partner (who took the original photo's) are over the moon with the results.

I'd thoroughly recommend Gemma to anyone who may need some cosmetic changes to images, or even some more complex work and I'd definitely use her services again.

I decided to try Gemma as I was becoming bored with sitting in front of a lap-top screen retouching. I received a friendly and excellent service with great communications and a quick turnaround - two days including sending out a CD as my lap-top crashed on me. I am very pleased with the results and I will certainly use her services again and willingly recommend her.

The turnaround was within 24 hours. The proof looked great and had been cropped tightly into the area that needed work, so I could see exactly what had been done.

The photoshop file was returned to my DropBox very quickly once payment had been sent.

I am a freelance photographer who is semi retired and I do not get the time to become an expert on Photoshop or Lightroom so Gemma is ideal. GemmieV is the first image editor I've ever let near my work in the six years I've been a photographer, albeit hobbyist. I was attracted to Gemmie's work because she has a proven record through her portfolio of not over-processing skin and generally leaving as much of the image as shot as possible. I'm much more than happy with the results and would recommend Gemmie to other photographers without question. Her communications are outstanding from start to finish and she is friendly whilst being very professional. I really can't fault Gemmie in what she does and I plan on using her skills again and again!
