References for Studio X

First visit to Studio X few weeks back as part of a group shoot shoot with two other models . I was given a warm welcome as soon as I arrived and looked after well ensuring all the models comfort. The studio may not be the biggest but has a private changing area , variety of sets and props .

There was a mixed bunch in the group from amateurs to more experienced ... either way the owners were more than happy help those who needed assistance from explaining lighting 1-2-1 and explaining the set . This was something I noticed as it showed they do want to help there clients and its not just about profit .

It was run well , they ensured people were in groups and slept between models so there wasn't too many in one place ...

I cant wait to go back in the future . jess x

My first time at Studio X was part of a recent studio event with two other models. The pre coms for the shoot was great and it was well organised despite the large number of photographers present. The studio space is well equipped with multiple sets and props.

Bekah and her husband Shaun are simply the nicest people you could hope to meet! They really do prioritise the models safety and comfort above all else, frequently making sure I was warm enough, asking if I needed anything and checking that I was happy throughout. They are such lovely people and I would happily come to their studio again without question. I highly recommend their studio not just to photographers but also to any model looking for a space to shoot

Despite having a no show with my model (Goldilocks20.). I was made very welcome and shown around their superb facilities. They have a model register, next time I think I will use it to avoid disappointment.

Last Sunday I had a great time shooting at StudioX, the studio itself is very well done indeed. Very spacious, very well thought out and contains everything you could possibly need. But above all that it has Bekah and Shaun who are just fantastic people.

I actually booked a 1 to 1 with Bekah this time around to learn more about lighting and I have to say that what I came away with, is a massive step forward in my own ability. Even though I live in Cheltenham, StudioX is the go to studio for me. If you haven’t been, go. You won’t be disappointed.

I love working at Studio X.

As a hobbyist portrait photographer Beckah and Sean always make me feel welcome. Beckah is always on hand to give that positive technical nudge when I am struggling with say a lighting issue. Many professional photographers can intimidate with their knowledge, Beckah helps to inspire and support.

The space is huge and at my recent session I had 5 models and an MUA as well as a client. Everyone felt at home. It is spotlessly clean.

There is no lighting option I can imagine that cannot be catered for here. I even went with the hire of their Canon 5D Mark II to see what impact it would have on my portraiture using a full frame sensor. Wow!

Sean is discreetly in the background setting up and shifting things and just when I needed a brew there he was with mine.

If like me you are hobbyist photographer and want to explore studio work I cannot recommend Studio X highly enough.

1st time here for me and the set up was clearly Professional, with great technical equipment, parking spaces,clean with ample space for dress changes and refreshments offered:result!!

I disagree a big shoot at studio X & I must say the owners made everyone so welcome they are so nice friendly and very very professional the studio is large and is one of the best I have worked in it is very well equipped and (warm) unlike some studios I look forward to the next shoot at studio X love love it

Shot at the studio for the first time this week!

And what an amazing studio it is!

Definitely brings something different to the table and so much space to work with. Work space and changing rooms all clean and tidy! Drink and even some biscuits offered. Staff couldn’t do enough to help and were hands on with equipment when needed.

I’m back next week shooting with another photographer and already can’t wait to get there. Definitely a studio i recommend to book with!

Amazing studio, big, well equipped, five minutes off the motorway, off-road parking and an easy get-in, all positives. Although it's a two hour drive for me, the advantages outweigh the pain and I'll definitely be using Studio x again. (sorry, unintended poetry)

Had my first shoot at Studio X with an independent photographer, studio is spacious, clean and versatile with excellent quality props and equipment. The owners have literally thought of everything and supplied the studio with nearly everything a model or photographer could need. The owners are friendly, helpful and very experienced. Highly recommended to all x

Attended a work shop yesterday ran by Studio X and I have walked away smiling! Thanks to this workshop day I now have confidence in my photography to keep perusing this hobby.

Their hospitality is spot on in making feel all who enter their establishment welcome. The knowledge known by both owners is astounding, and yesterday Bekah taught me so much about studio work its unreal.

Visited Studio X for the 2nd time today and as with the 1st received a lovely warm welcome from the fabulous Bekah.

The studio has a number of different sets and is really well equipped with lighting for every occasion. It's a great space to work in and is 100% recommended.

Looking forward to my next visit :-)

Shot at Studio X for the first time last week on a Rogue Model Management Shoot day and I would highly recommend Studio X. The studio sets are varied, clean and easy to adapt to whatever style you are shooting. Bekah and Shaun are wonderful and always on hand to help and advise. The location is perfect for public transport even with suitcases the walk is less than 5 minutes.

I will be back in the near future hopefully! Thank you guys for being awesome!

I shot at Studio X as part of a charity photoshoot, the facilities were excellent and hosts were kind. There is a variety of set ups within the location and easily accessible for those who dont drive, train station is minutes away. I will definitely use the studio again, hopefully not in the too distant future.

Studio X is without question my favourite place to shoot, I have worked with the studio multiple times, every shoot has been an absolute pleasure, made even more so by two of the most welcoming people I have ever met, Bekah and Shaun have made me feel very welcome and very comfortable from day one, giving me some of my best images to date, my most recent experience with the team had me modeling for multiple photographers at once some of which were very new to photography meaning I had to be quick on my toes to keep the shapes flowing, something I wouldn't have had the confidence or experience if not for both Bekah and Shaun, I wouldn't be half the model I am today if not for these two amazing people and their very well equipped studio :)

Had the extreme pleasure of working at Studio X recently. Bekah and Shaun are perfect hosts; friendly, approachable and experienced. Their studio is perfectly equipped with a huge range of lighting heads and modifiers, and it's very competitively priced. It literally has everything a photographer could need.

Had another shoot that commenced at Studio x again today and just like last time absolutely flawless! Hospitality was again on point and Bekah and Shaun never fail to put a smile on my face.

When studio owners are really down to earth, easy to get on with and kind and considerate people, it makes the shooting experience a whole lot better.

Bekah and Shaun take pride in their studio. Always presenting a pristine space with a vast selection of refreshments/snacks, lighting and equipment and a private changing area. On top of providing a great space with many different possibilities.

I love this studio so much, that i have organised a studio event with them, and cannot wait to go back and use it again.

Was Make Up Artist at a shoot at Studio X a couple of weeks ago, and can't recommend them highly enough. The studio was perfect, equipped with pretty much everything you could need/want, was super light and airy and even had a perfect set up for an MUA.
