Studio Sox is small but beautifully formed!

The amount of equipment is amazing and puts some much larger studios to shame. There is also a versatile loft space for natural light shooting.

Simon was very friendly and provided lots of advice on lighting ... plus drinks.

Highly recommended and I will certainly use again if I'm in the area.

Love shooting at Studio Sox; a wonderful, intimate studio with a great owner who's there to help and set up as you wish and whose hospitality is second to none.

Very well equipped and with a range of backdrops and different set ups, it really is quite an amazing space.

I ended up here after a planned outdoor shoot had to be rained off.

This is a great little studio, with the upstairs loft area offering some great natural light opportunities, and some handy "accessories" such as the headphones we used in a few images. The downstairs studio offers a range of backdrops and lighting to suit most needs.

Simon was really helpful in setting up the initial lighting to my suggestion, and offering advice when needed. A drawer full of triggers means you should be able to get shooting quickly as well.

Simon is extremely accommodating and friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

A real gem of a studio, I'm so glad I've discovered it as I will definitely be booking here again, highly recommended to models and photographers.

What a delightful and well equipped studio! I did a shoot with Clara Sinclair and Simon assisted with an initial lighting set up and gave a quick tour of the various backdrops and props available. The lights are exceptional and so easy to move and position as they are all on overhead rails.

Oh, and Simon makes a good cup of tea too!

An amazing studio with a wonderful host. Simon set up some new lighting which worked incredibly well and set up lights in a bathroom which wasn’t easy to do.

I had a shoot arranged at Studio Sox (the model being Clara Sinclair).

I had several conversations prior to this with Simon and found him to be extremely helpful, professional, and knowledgeable.

When I arrived at Studio Sox I was immediately greeted with warmth and friendliness.

Simon provided me with a complete overview of what his studio had to offer which would be more than adequate for any photographer be it amateur or professional. He has everything ( including props) one could wish for a vast variety of looks and styles.

I recently did a remote shoot with the amazing Clara Sinclair at Studio Sox. Simon was fantastic and made the effort to understand what setup I would need ahead of time and so on the day everything was ready to go and just as I wanted. It's obivous that Simon has put a lot of thought into the technical side of remote shooting and he clearly explained the software setup just before the shoot and everything worked very well. I had my images surprisingly quickly given the amount of data and I'm extremely happy with the results.

I would highly reccommend Studio Sox and will definitely be shooting there again in future.

Simon, the owner, on hand to help and offer advice / suggestions if needed which in my case is always appreciated! Indeed Simon suggested a simple overhead light setup for todays shoot which worked like a dream.

I had a remote session with Sugar&Spice at this studio, and had no idea the room was this compact--everything was conveniently set up, the lights were well controlled, and the set itself was just as I'd suggested.

Simon was great to work with as well, helping the model tune the lights as requested.

Just had my first remote shoot here and it was superb! Studio owner Simon was super helpful and set everything up for me (after checking backdrop & lighting preferences) and made sure both the photographer and I were happy. A splendid host, he made sure I was hydrated and comfortable, keeping out of the way during the shoot, but being on hand to help as needed. A clean, organised and well equipped space. More than happy to recommend!

I've just had my first shoot at Studio Sox and although the studio is relative small the space has been used well with an extensive range of lighting options all running on rails from the ceiling making it easy to adjust positioning. There is a selection of backdrops on rolls and shooting full length is no problem. I opted for a mid grey drop with a soft box and large silver reflector and got a really lovely light just as I'd hoped for.

Simon was hospitable, tea was drunk and an enjoyable session was had.

I would be very happy to use Studio Sox again and can recommend it to any keen studio photographer

I was fortunate enough to get to work in Simon's wonderful studio space on a rare visit to Norwich - my home city until I went to university.

Simon was so helpful and accommodating and it was a pleasure to meet him and discuss not just photography, but work as well. It turned out that we have very similar interests and backgrounds!

I shot high key and low key images and made the most of the great range of equipment that Simon has. He kept producing exactly what I needed before I even had to ask for it! Strobes, LED lighting and a well-thought-out studio design gave me many options. It was particularly nice to have ceiling-mounted lighting - the difference it made was huge in terms of opening up different angles and lines of sight.

I would thoroughly recommend Studio Sox. Thank you once again, Simon for the opportunity to work there and for being such a great host!
