I had a really useful and enjoyable first shoot at Studio Old Swan. Everything was ready for me when I arrived and the space and equipment was ideal to suit my plans. Jim was around to give advice at the start and then left me to have a very successful shoot with one of the resident models. I recommend to others and will plan to use the studio again myself.

David and Myself booked this lovely studio too shoot in for 2 hours, Jim Bob, the fabulous host, was absolutely lovely, he was very gracious and even allowed us too shoot a bit longer than we had originally booked :) He also makes a great Cuppa and was very welcoming and professional!

The owner of this fab space has a great collection of both clothing, props, and backgrounds that gave David and I a great range of images :)

I would fully recommend this space

And I would love to book it again myself!

Had a great shoot at Old Swan with ClaireM. Booking and pre shoot comms were super good too.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by JimBob who gave us a guided tour and found suitable flash triggers, plus a cuppa too and drinks during the afternoon as well.

Plenty of props, backdrops, accessories and a couple of different spaces, as well as the garden….we barely scratched the surface!

Jim was a great host, the rates were good and I’d happily recommend to others.

Good to get back to Old Swan, Shoot hosted at Jimbob's studio by Chris Barral, a tfp network event three setups were available with Jim on hand to support any technical issues.

Chris organised the timetable as he needed to take a revolving door approach to accommodate effectively 27 shoots during the day it worked well. Given the fact it was a network event its important that such events are supported to allow interaction and future work for all concerned.

I met Jim for the second time one at the Christmas event organised by Chris Barral and its the first time at is studio in Liverpool tfp group shoot, the studio was well equipped with plenty props and backdrops in quite a few lovely rooms, Jim is a friendly and professional photographer and well organised with the help from Chris Barral and also he was very welcoming I would definatly recommend this studio whoever is thinking of visiting thankyou

I worked in this studio for the first time as the photographer had arranged it. I can honestly say I wowed by the amazing space and props available, it felt very homely and the use of a Hollywood mirror really does help. I loved the variety of props and accessories that were available to use. Jim the host of the studio was a delight, very friendly and polite and also chatty with a great sense of humour. We were offered lots of refreshments which was lovely. I will hopefully be using this studio in future. Well equipped and the host an absolute pleasure to deal with. Thank you Jim, we got some great shots. Would definitely recommend to any models or photographers. Lou. Xx

why im bad at leaving reference ill never know! ive used this studion quite a few times now and its ace! jim is always friendly and very helpful,helping with set ups, camera assistance and even bringing drinks, the studio is very well equipped various backdrops and props galore, deffo worth visiting if your looking for studio space!

Had a shoot at studio old Swan, Jimbob is a lovely guy, always at hand if you need help, lots of props lovely clothes and plenty of lights. You will not be disappointed.

I have been using the studio for about 3 years or maybe longer but I don't think I have left a ref for them or Jim (the owner) so it is time to put that right.

The studio is fairly small but plenty big enough for portraits and full length work it is very well equipped with lights and props like chairs. with a well lit make up station and separate bathroom BUT it is up fairly steep flight of stairs. However the ever resourceful Jim can even overcome that with enough notice and can convert a down stairs room into a beautiful studio setting If that is what you need.

As you may have gathered Jim is very helpful if you or the model, are new to studio work but will, to use a Liverpool expression "do one" if you don't need any assistance but not before making you a cuppa !

Jim was very friendly and helpful.

The studio is well equipped with lighting, modifiers, backdrops and props.

Loads of outfits for the models - basically a one stop shop for modelling studio.

Tea/coffee when you wanted it. A very friendly atmosphere and great value for money.

Highly recommended and will use it myself again.

Studio Old Swan was basking in the January sunshine as I walked to the door, which was opened by the ever smiling Jim the studio owner.

Clean, warm and plenty of shooting areas and little niches to ensure our Pure TFP 2020 event attendees where kept busy.

Jim was on hand at all times during the shoot supporting photographers technical queries on lights, providing memory cards and helping models with clothing modifications....he makes a cracking brew too!

The combination of a well kitted out studio, enthusiastic owner who knows his onions plus great hire prices you cannot go wrong.

This studio is highly recommended.

I met Jim for the first time in his studio at the event was organised by Chris Barral. He was very friendly, chatty and helpful! The studio was very well lighting equipped and had 3 rooms with different decorations and backdrop as well. I enjoyed working with them today and recommend him and his studio to work with. Thanks!

A great studio based in a house. The two main rooms for shooting offer a lot of great angles and the studio room upstairs comes packed with all the equipment you could want and a host of great outfits and props.

Very reasonable prices as well so I’d definitely reccomend using this studio, the lads behind the studio are great as well.

I've just arrived home after a brilliant shoot at this studio. It is a little gem.

This is my first visit to Old Swan Studio and hopefully it won't be my last.

I was impressed by our welcome. Myself and the photographer were made very welcome and the studio had a really nice and comfy vibe to it.

Parking a dream and easy to locate. I didn't get lost! Woo hooo.

The set up is great. Lots of potential and we weren't stuck for ideas after casting our eyes over lots of props, chairs and different shooting areas.

I did a shoot at this lovely studio yesterday. They were very welcoming and friendly and I felt comfortable.

There was a good lighting set up and a lovely selection of outfits.

They were also kind enough to help me out; I accidentally left my little bag of hair clips in the studio and after contacting them, the owners found it and are going to send it to me!

I would definitely recommend them to other models.
