References for Studio 9XX

I have used Studio 9XX on a few occasions. It's a good space to shoot and run by a fellow photographer who was always on hand to help with any questions. It's in a good location too with parking available outside.

On top of that is the fact that the studio space opens up into a big

warehouse space that has lots of nooks and crannies that can be used as backdrops.

Have shot many times now at Studio 9XX. It is a great open space with everything you need. Chris is so helpful and proactive to all photographers and models when working

There are plenty of materials, lighting, backdrops, props etc and great area for setting up clothes, make up etc.

Looking forward to shooting here again soon.

Optima Photography

Shot at 9XX for the first time this weekend. The studio is unusual in that it is a vast space with lots of interesting features including natural light, large roller shutters and much more. In addition there is a paper background system for more conventional shots. Plenty of parking too.

Chris was on hand throughout but in no way obtrusive.

Fully recommended.

Studio 9XX is a great location, with lots of natural light and plenty of space to work in.

Having shot at the studio twice now, I can say that Chris is an awesome, friendly guy who is punctual, has great comms and is always willing to help and be a gracious host.

Would highly recommend to anyone looking for studio space.

I have had the pleasure of shooting at studio9xx on a number of occasions. Let's talk about Chris - always accomodating and eager to please, constantly updating kit and studio features…

The studio - a huge warehouse with so much scope, there is a room off one side with white walls and fantastic natural light (if the Welsh weather allows…), there is a rack of different coloured paper rolls and an array of lighting modifiers. Out in the warehouse is a large space with gritty/grungy walls again with fab natural light, at the one end is a large roller shutter door which allows for vehicles to fit inside the space. I prefer to set up one or two backgrounds close to these shutters and have full use and flexibility of natural and artificial light or combine the two. There is plenty of parking right outside so no need to park down the road and carry your gear ½ mile (or more…) to the studio.

Overall studio9xx is a fantastic and versatile space that can accommodate almost any kind of shoot, and I am sure Chris will try and make the impossible possible if you have anything specific in mind. Highly recommended!

Did my first shoot at studio 9XX last month and I cannot recommend this studio enough, space is amazing, loads of room, loads of different backdrops and spaces to use and amazing lighting kit to use as well.

Chris is a really friendly guy and very helpful, comms when booking and prior to the shoot were great.

This is not your average studio, the warehouse space is fantastic, offering a great location to shoot in.

My third shoot in Studio 9XX.

I have always had productive shoots in this studio, got to meet a lot of nice people and they definitely hold interesting events there. So whoever is looking to get more creative and explore should follow them or contact them :)

I booked the studio at short notice. Chris was really helpful and we sorted out the triggers etc easily and all was ready for when the model arrived. Both the studio and warehouse are fantastic places to shoot with both natural light as well as normal studio lighting. Really good to have something in Cardiff. Recommended. Thx
