Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Nigel came back to Basford Hurst Cottage to shoot with studio owner and model Miss C (Leanne).

All pre comms were great as always and Nigel arrived on time with LOADS of props, outfits and ideas for shoots! At all times Nigel was completely respectful of our location and is a joy to have around.

We would highly reccomend Nigel and look forward to seeing him again soon!! Thanks for coming back to see us Nigel!!

Nigel booked me for another shoot here at Basford Hurst Cottage and I was so pleased he did!! - I was pleased with the images from our first shoot, but - I just knew we could do even better ... and I wasn't wrong!!!

Nigel arrived on time and my word I have neve seen SO many outfits for me to play with!!! I think Nigel brought enough for a weeks worth of shoots and then some!! We lost count but I imagine we went through about 10 outfits....!! Each one bringing new opportunities for shoots and looks. Nigel is a lot of fun to shoot with and he really brings out the best in his models. It was great to catch up and have a good laugh (usually at my expense....!! Haha!).

Would I reccomend Nigel? OF COURSE!! We are already planning our next shoot which I am thoroughly looking forward to!! Thank you so much for booking me again and I look forward to seeing you soon!!

Pre comms were good and he collected me from the station

The studio is a great space and very well equipped with everything you need

Nigel was really easy to work with, very polite and friendly and also very patient as I was dealing with a migraine during the shoot, so wasn't quite 100%

I would be more than happy to shoot with him again, and can definitely recommend

Nigel came back to Basford Hurst Cottage to work with Katey and Jess on their duo studio event.

It was a pleasure to welcome Nigel back to Basford - He is a really great photographer with a wicked personality and I could've just sat and talked to him for hours - In fact - I think we did!! Haha!

Nigel worked well with Jess and Katey throughout the day, creating many amazing images together. He was always respectful and made sure to leave the location tidy. I would have no hesitation to recommend Nigel and look forward to seeing him again soon!! Thanks Nigel!!

I had first wonderful shoot with Nigel - I really enjoyed working with him!

We shot at his studio in Birmingham and we produced some lovely images that I can’t wait to see. We had a few hours and managed to cover a range of styles and I really enjoyed the shoot.

I had a pleasure of shooting with Nigel second time,and it went brilliantly. This time we shot at Nigel’s studio in Birmingham and I really enjoyed our shoot. Nigel is a pleasure to shoot with, he treated me really well and made sure I felt comfortable and had everything I needed on the day. Nigel organised our studio day and I am very grateful he invited me to shoot at his beautiful studio in Birmingham. Despite I spent there a whole day time just flew away from us as we were all engaged in a process of shooting truly enjoying it. Nigel has a great photography vision, he was brimming over with creative ideas and we tried a lot of different looks and conceptions. On top of it Nigel has a lot of cool wardrobe we used for our shoot and refreshments/lunch were amazing as well. Thanks Nigel, looking forward to shooting with you again

Nigel booked me for a half day shoot on my most recent tour of the Midlands.

His pre shoot communications were great on the lead up to the shoot, providing moodboards and making sure I had all the information I needed to find the studio.

The shoot itself was just fab! From the minute I arrived I felt like I’d known him for years! Nigel has a great personality (and an even better taste in music haha!!) so we got on very well and had a good natter throughout the shoot :)

We covered a tonne of different looks and styles and the whole shoot from start to finish was so much fun. Without a doubt recommend him to others and hope to catch up with him again soon :D

Had a great shoot during my recent Tour to the West Midlands with Nigel at his Studio “The Studio (Telsen)”.

Prior to shooting pre-communication was excellent and everything was so easy to plan and organise. On the day of shooting Nigel kindly collected me from the train station and drove me to the Studio. Upon arrival Nigel was kind and friendly to me from the start and really made me feel welcome. He offered me a hot drink and was incredibly accommodating.

After going through my suitcase and seeing what I had we went straight into shooting and had such a productive shoot. We shot a variety of lingerie, fashion and implied and concealed nude along with a stunning sheer gold dress that Nigel provided. As well as shooting indoors we also shot outside and there were some super cool locations nearby the building.

What a fab shoot. Filled with lots of laughter, happiness and good chats as well as a super creative and fun shoot.

I had my first shoot with Nigel yesterday at Basford Hurst Cottage and we had an absolute blast!!!

Nigel's pre-comms where great! He arrived on time and brought plenty of goodies with him, including corsets, dresses, accessories and more!!

Time flew by with Nigel!! We worked through about 8 sets in 4 hours?!?! Nigel had loads of great ideas and we created many incredible images!!

Nigel is a real professional and so much fun to have around!! He is easy to talk to and I received some edited images in less than 24 hours!!!

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Nigel came to Basford Hurst Cottage yesterday to shoot with Miss C (owner and model).

Pre-comms with Nigel where spot on. Nigel arrived on time and ready to shoot. He brought with him a wealth of outfits and was brimming with ideas from the start.

Nigel is easy to talk to and great fun to have around! He is respectful of out property and looked after everything when moving props / furniture and studio equipment around.

Nigel is welcome back to Basford anytime and I hope to see him again soon!

What a brilliant first shoot I had with Nigel!

As soon as I got to the studio Nigel was there to help me with my suitcase and so warm and welcoming. Drinks and snacks whenever you want them, I felt so comfortable as soon as I got to the studio and it is warm! :-)

We had a fantastic 4 hour shoot which went way to fast!

We shot in the studio and did some other bits around the building.

Nigel is professional, polite, kind and a lovely guy.

I love the images we created and I had the best day!

Had the pleasure of shooting with Nigel today at his Telsen studio. Lovely little studio. Nigel is a true creative, who is full of unique ideas. He’s is friendly, and chatty yet keeps a professional demeanour throughout. Some of the concepts we’ve came up with today have been a little different to what I usually shoot, yet totally original ideas. The pictures were awesome and it’s definitely one of my best first shoots. I can’t wait to see the final images and work with Nigel again. A pleasure to work with, I can’t recommend him enough. X

Nigel is an excellent photographer and we were so pleased that he bought along a few tricks to bring our ‘masters’ style shoot to life, achieving a wonderful painterly feel right out of camera, it was truly magical, we cant wait to see the final images.

Finally worked with Nigel in person on Thursday! Nigel and I had shot together a few times remotely so it was great to finally meet and shoot! Nigel is super easy to work with,there was no pressure and we worked through lots of different outfits in different settings. Nigel is so friendly,approachable and chatty which makes for a great shoot! It is clear to see how much Nigel enjoys his photography and this shines through in his enthusiasm. Nigel has booked a shoot at Zavod a while back and although we unfortunately had to postpone the booking, the pre-comms were excellent.

During the shoot, Nigel was very very kind and built a strong rapport with the model - I was really chuffed as the atmosphere in the studio was great :)

I was shown some back of the camera and I really liked with he has captured; he was working with my new lights that got delivered that morning so I actually haven't got a chance to test them myself. Nigel did that instead!

Would absolutely love to have him back at the studio anytime.
