Hi, my name is Vincent.

I am a retired freelance photographer (lots and lots of textbooks, annual reports, calendars and promotional photos but not very creative work; it paid the bills!) currently working on personal projects.

I love light! I work with all kinds of light in all sorts of situations.

I like mixing available, continuous, and flash lighting! 

I love collaborating with models and other creatives to help make their ideas come to life.

I respect a model's levels and I do not push those limits.

I like to work in a relaxed atmosphere and will do everything I can to make sure everyone I photograph has an enjoyable experience.

Current Project:

I am currently looking for models to hire for an ongoing project based on the Seven Deadly Sins. Each sin is associated with an animal and colour. Each sin also has an opposite cardinal virtue and a punishment in hell. Who knew there was so much to know about the Seven Deadly Sins!? The first part of the project will be a series of 21 headshot-style studio portraits.

My long-range goal for this project is to produce a graphic novel (photo-based) that I am writing. During the still photoshoots, I will also be making videos (and producing the soundtracks for the videos) to be posted online for project promotion. Ultimately I would like this to end up as a gallery show and published graphic novel. If you are interested in this project please get in touch!

2021 Post Graduate Diploma in Photography from Falmouth University

Genre Preference:

While I love creating photographs of various genres, I would most like to work with models who love classic Pinup. Let's recreate some of the classic Gil Elvgren pinups from the 1940s and 50s.
