Strand Corner Studio

Strand Corner Studio is located at the junction of Strand Road and Watery Lane (1.2 miles from Preston Rail Station & 2 miles from Preston Bus Station) on the outskirts of Preston city centre. Situated within Oyston Mill, this bright and airy room is perfect for creating.

The studio is currently fitted with three PixaPro Lumi II 200s, various modifiers and reflectors along with an abundance of natural light. 

In the main shooting area you will find three 9ft seamless paper backdrops and four 4ft seamless paper backdrops as well as some textured fabric backdrops but you are free to create wherever you see fit.

There are various seating options available including a chesterfield style sofa, armchairs, small stools, bar stools, a farmhouse style chair and a swivel "egg" chair.

Separate to the main shooting area there is a private changing room/bathroom and a hallway with built-in shelving where all sorts of extras are stored away.

This is a constantly evolving space which over the next few months and years will only continue to get bigger and better. Suggestions and ideas from photographers and models will always be welcomed as we grow and we hope to see you for a shoot here soon.

Strand Corner Studio is available to hire at the following rates;

One Hour: £40
Two - five Hours: £30/h
Five - eight Hours: £25/h

(Disclaimer: the flashes in the studio are triggered by a universal single pin trigger, a PixaPro Pro AC aka Godox XT16, although some older or more entry level DSLRs may not be compatible. Please ensure this trigger is compatible with your camera before booking the studio. No refunds will be issued for incompatible equipment)
