Had a brilliant test shoot last Friday with Brian. He had a well prepared wardrobe for our "Game of Thrones inspired" shoot.

Captured some great images and got on well, would highly recommend. His classes are great too with a great punch of other photographers under his helm.

I recently had the pleasure of a wonderful shoot with Brian at his lovely well equipped studio.

Pre comms were great and brian was very easy to get along with and extremely knowledgeable on the industry.

The studio is a great space to work, warm and comfortable with great facilities.

We played with gel lighting and Brian got some amazing shots.

The time flew by, highly recommended and looking forward to working with Brian again.

What a lovely studio Brian owns and runs!

The people who attended my club night where all lovely and super respectful and Brian runs his club nights so well.

I felt at ease as soon as I walked through the door and I loved the way the studio was set up, a nice changing room for the model and separation barrier inbetween the space where you work and the photographers wait, it gives you a chance to work more one on one even though it's a club night.

Brian himself is a top man, I got on with him instantly and he is so warm and welcoming and full of energy. He made it paramount that I was comfortable at all times and sure knows his stuff with lighting, also helping the other photographers with their individual set ups.

100% recommend, I had such a great night!

I had an absolutely amazing first shoot with Brian, he was the most laid back person I’ve met in the industry. I was nervous, knowing it was a shoot with someone else, but Brian gave us perfect direction, and I couldn’t have felt more comfortable. We cracked jokes all day, and laughed until my ribs were killing me. I’m so looking forward to working with him more, his images are absolutely amazing, and listening to his knowledge is phoenomenal.

Had my first ever studio shoot with Brian yesterday. I was so nervous at the thought but it turns out I had nothing to worry about! He gave direction and made me feel at ease. Great guy to work with and easy to get along with. I came away feeling very very happy about the shoot. He is an amazing photographer and taught me so much! Can't wait to work with him again in the future 😁🤘🏻

I was hired by Brian a few days before this shoot took place. Brian was hosting a workshop in his new studio (prior to opening it to the public) and hired me to be the model for 2 hours.

Brian is a lovely gent, clearly very experienced in his field, but obviously more than willing to help those coming in to the industry as best he can.

His Studio was huge! With plenty of potential, and plenty of space. He had an abundance of props to work with as well, which made the shoot even more fun.

I travelled over 70 miles (there and back) to work alongside Brain and it was 100% worth it.

I hope to work alongside/with Brian again in the future - highly recommended!

worked with Brian for the first time on a Peaky blinders group shoot. He is a joy to work with, he is a nice and very funny type of guy who will keep going until he gets the picture he wants. He knows exactly what he is doing and how to do it. I would highly recommend Brian and would happily work with him again.

Another fabulous shoot with Brian today! This was my first shoot back after taking a years break from modelling and we found a fantastic location and captured some great images! I first met Brian at one of his group events but unfortunately didn't get to do any work with him, until yesterday when we finally got to work with each other 1-2-1. He is literally the best guy to work with, so much knowledge, great teacher, great sence of humour and just an all round amazing guy! And just too top it off his images are incredible. Shooting with Brian for the first time at PurePreston Studio was a very fun occasion indeed!

He is an absolutely amazing individual who has the best sense of humour, had me giggling throughout the shoot, his incredible way with the camera was apparent, setting up the lights with all that wealth of knowledge that really sets him apart!

I cannot recommend this epic photographer enough to all, he knows his stuff, is an utter joy to work with and his direction/feedback is out of this world :)

Were do i start by crediting this gent .brian buddy i cant credit you enough for the love care and support u have gave me. This man is a bundle of joy to work with,so very creative and knows just what im after in every image. Worked with brian on several occ on a solo shoot and a peaky-blinders role and cant say i havent walked away at the end of both nights without haveing a smile on my face from the groupnights. I would say id highly reccomend him to any model but thats not enough credit to him . Words cant say how highly i think of this gent. All i will say is to any model and togs alike that asks about him go and work with him and youl understand just why i credit him so very very much. I had another fantastic group shoot arranged by Brain yesterday, despite me being late due to getting lost aha. He was welcoming ,fun, friendly & had a clear organised plan for the evening. I always enjoy shoots with Brian as the atmosphere is nice and relaxed plus he's very professional & great at what he does.

Brian booked my studio again this weekend after many other bookings in recent months. Brian is a great photographer and teacher and we get along great. Very professional but same time laid back and easy going in his approach making the events enjoyable for those taking part. Always welcome and highly recommended.

Brian contacted me about modelling for one of his off camera flash workshops near the Preston area - was an excellent evening! He's an absolute beaut of a person; chatty, respectful and an excellent eye for creating dramatic and awesomely composed shots. So glad I got to work with him whilst up north!

His workshop was just brilliant, had a lot of fun and shot a few rather epic set ups. Highly recommended!

Hampson St Studio

I had a studio day booked with Elle Beth and Brian wanted to take up the opportunity to work with her. I've know Brian for sometime but not seen each other for a long time. When he asked to come along I was more than happy, he was still the great guy I knew, treated the model with respect, made her feel at ease, looked after the studio and got some amazing images too. He's always welcome at the studio and I recommend models to work with him. Good to catch up mate ;)
