I am a full time professional photographer with 25 plus years experience in action, photojournalism, weddings, portraiture and fine art.

I had my own studio in Keswick in the heart of the lake district for 20 years but married a geordie/essex lass ( another photographer) and moved down to essex for her.  I have been off coms for a few years caring for my wife. She lost her fight with cancer so I have picked up my cameras once again and am back shooting professionally, mainly for gallery sales and a possible fellowship panel with the royal photographic society.

My personal work is documentary, seascape and art nude, particularly on location.. The latter is what is relevant to anyone reading this. I will be shooting in Essex while I am still here, and travlling back to the lakes and scotland a lot and will be looking to set up shoots when back there. I will physically move back to Cumbria or West coast of Scotland next summer

I'd love to hear from anyone who would like to work with me, particularly those willing to work outside in the landscape. I am kind to models, but a hard taskmaster. I prefer pubic hair and no tatoos/piercings on my models, but realise that only leaves two of you :)  So I suck it up.  I don't photoshop you, sorry. The women in my images are all real.

A few years ago I shot a calendar for the MS Society, featuring fine art nude landscape shots of local girls with ms, kind of like a calendar girls but the next logical step :) The calendars and print exhibition sold out within three weeks of launch and raised £16,000 ring fenced for ms research.

I have black cameras :) Actually I had all sorts of professional gear since this is my full time living, but cameras do not create images, ones eyes and brain do that.

Any southern models wanting to work with me in Essex or Kent should doso in the next 6 months as I am moving back to Cumbria or Scotland next summer.
