Does “being nude” simply mean being without clothes, or does it mean something more than that? Inspired by Saul Steinberg’s work, I asked a series of art-nude models to create paper bag masks that represented their identities. Then, I photographed them posing in ways that illustrated the identities reflected in their masks. The goal was for the models to express how they see themselves, rather than how others perceive them.
