Hello, I am Ste.
I am a British amateur photographer. For the past few years, I have worked all over the world. This has given me the opportunity to take pictures in Cyprus, Falklands, USA and the UK.
I have always enjoyed photography as a hobby and in the last 7 years or so, I have become more enthusiastic as I have been able to dedicate more time to it. I particularly enjoy the variety of aspects that photography brings (no pun intended).
During Covid I focussed on landscapes, now that I'm back in GB I have been able to get back to portraiture. I really enjoy photoshoots, but I am passionate about wildlife photography. I can recommend the Falklands for penguins!
In 2024 have three real goals:
1 - Collaborate more with the wider creative community. I'm looking to broaden as a photographer and to learn from others as well as help them develop me skills.
2 - I want to do more studio work - having had the opportunity to work with a good professional model in the past has shown me the benefit of working with subjects who understand photography. This past year I was able to do a couple of boudoir shoots. They went well. Finding good models to work with regularly will help me build a great portfolio.
3 - To undertake more formal processing training. I want to learn more techniques and really get the most out of Lightroom/Photoshop.
