Emily and I met for a conceptual shoot I had planned. We shot for around two hours in Brighton and it was great. Emily came along with a cool hat to add to the look and didn't mind helping me tie around 40 origami cranes to trees as part of the idea.

Emily's posing is great and she is also adapt at making small tweaks where requested to a pose.

She's a great personality and highly recommended. I'm sure that we'll shoot again in the not too distant future. 5/5!

When Emily first contacted me regarding a shoot I wasn't sure her look (gothic fantasy /alternative) would suit my style of working, but she presented a strong powerpoint/moodboard with links to some Glen Luchford clips to indicate the mood she felt we could try to emulate, so I was happy to give it a go. Emily studies film-making, so I felt confident she would bring a film-maker's eye to the shoot.

A bit of mutual admiration that has been going on for about a year finally came to fruition this week. I was asked by Emily if I wanted to be a part of a concept shoot on a Mermaid theme and of course I jumped at the chance.Emily had assembled a MUA, Designer and Photographer for the shoot and to be honest it was a great team.

Emily is a very interesting, focused and likeable person, all of which carry over into her modelling. It is very easy working with her as she can put over her ideas just as well as she can take ideas onboard.I found this to be a great bonus.

Comms as expected were brilliant and the shoot was well organised.

Purely from a modelling aspect Emily is confident and capable as well as having a look and style all of her own.

She is a great model who I have no hesitation in recommending.

We will be putting our team back together again later in the year and I am really looking forward to it.

Had a great shoot with Emily yesterday on location , Emily had great pre shoot communication and arrived on time fully made up with great cosmetics for our themed shoot . Emily did so well on a cold day and took direction well although she didn’t always need it and had some great poses of her own , she’s friendly , easy to get along with and altogether great to work with and I really enjoyed our shoot .

Midas Eye

I had a great shoot with Emily at the weekend. I set out to do a completely different type of shoot and Emily was very patient and supportive with the process. The lighting on the day was dull so opportunities were a little thin on the ground but under the circumstances we got some wonderful images. Emily is a really interesting person to talk to and I found she shared my interests of music and film. She is an absolute mine of information on film and I wish her every success in this area Which she intends to peruse in the future. I have no hesitation in recommending Emily and would work with her again gladly.

She Is The Fight

Emily is sound, she was really lovely even though my shooting style is kind of spontaneous at times. Good chat before the shoot, didn't leave me waiting forever to respond and stuff. She seemed like she had total faith in what I said I was going to do with her, which is a rare quality in a model.

She sorted her own MUA, which was pretty handy.

We did an outside shoot and was a bit nippy but she joined me in a nice wander about and didn't mind any of my ideas, nothing too weird but there were biscuits involved.

She's chill, friendly and easy to work with. Yea I rate her, if you are thinking of booking her then I'd say go for it.

Had an amazing first shoot with Starwomanonmars! :-) pre shoot comms were great and she arrived bang on time at the train station - we shot at Fareham Studio, shooting a range of different looks :-) Starwomanonmars rocked every set we shot! She was especially good at making use of the props and items in the studio to add to outfits and make new looks and her posing is awesome! :-) add to that her really strong look and you have a recipe for an amazing shoot with incredible shots! :-) totally recommend Starwomanonmars and can’t wait to work with her again! :-)

Finally got to shoot with Emily today and the shoot couldn't have gone better. She arrived armed with a big bag of awesome clothes, we went over ideas and outfits then did the make up and headed to the location. Emily poses and takes direction well, patient and up for any challenge you throw at her including braving the cold in a tiny backless dress. We got some amazing shots and the day flew by, she’s a genuinely lovely young lady who is pleasant, friendly and easy to work with, you really couldn’t ask for more. I certainly plan to work with her again and would highly recommend

I had a thoroughly enjoyable and productive shoot with Emily at The Cottage Studio today. From start to finish Emily was professional, friendly and fun. Emily has an innate aesthetic awareness, which combined with her training and background in the creative and visual arts, ensures that not only are concepts and ideas quickly grasped, but they’re also quickly and efficiently implemented to an exceptionally high standard. I highly recommend Emily, and hope that we have more opportunities to work together in the future.

Daventure

Emily and I did a shoot around the streets of Brighton yesterday, having planned a couple of different themes and outfits to shoot with.

Although new she is very relaxed in front of camera, following guidance well and noticeably passionate about modelling!

We were working alongside an MUA, who was also brilliant and had Emily in makeup ready to go before the start!

Overall a fun day out and I’d be happy to work with Emily again.

Had my first shoot, and sure it won't be our last, with the lovely Emily.

Pre-comms were excellent and we discussed style and venue well in advance. We went to the woods at Stanmer Park in Brighton for a Pocahontas shoot and had time to also do a few fashion shots. She had also organised a MUA before hand so when we met she was ready, make up and costume perfect.

Emily poses well with little or no direction, works hard to create the images we were after and is fun to be around.

We checked images in camera throughout the shoot and were both pleased with what we were capturing.

Definitely recommended to other photographers.

We had been discussing a shoot for a little while, and came up with the theme very easily.

This is the first time I have shot with Emily, and i found her to be good fun to shoot with, adaptable, and really a rather good model.

She arrived made up immaculately (and this was important in the shoot we did), was confident in front of the camera, and posed with ease and took direction well.

A fun evening walking around Brighton's church yards. I very highly recommend Emily.
