References for Starglider Photography

Stu was one of those people that you can't stop laughing around, he had me in stitches from the moment we met, talking about the most vulgar and revolting things.

We spent most of the session in between posing and photographing dancing horrifically to cringy 80s music and making weird noises, which sounds like a good shoot to me :)

his photography is pretty fabulous too and we produced at least a million good shots out of the session!

highly recommended by me and can't wait to shoot again!

Right then... Stu..

Where to even start? Hes a hilariously annoying tit. But good makes up for bad.. I suppose.

He put me up for the evening before the shoot and we had such a giggle chatting away into the night! The shoot its self was awesome!! Stu had so many ideas and we shot through them and struggles through the bits that tried to fuck us over (Cornettos are shit for melting..)

The shots are out of this world! I'm so happy with them! The turn around period of images was really great and I'm just astounded by how much I love them!

I hated it that much I'm planning another trip for early next year!

Hmmm... I have done a few of these thingys for Stu now. I'm a bit stuck with what to say because I don't want to repeat what's already been said and you can already see from the numerous amounts of refs he has that he is BLOODY AMAZING. But here goes... A fun filled weekend with Stu at my crib :D We started off with a Chinese takeaway and some drinks with music (thank you Stu for my speaker - you're awesome!), then we went outside in the dark for some amazing shooty fun then back at mine to shoot until half 1 on Sunday morning. Despite Stu only having and needing minimal hours sleep (I woke up at almost 10am the next day..oops!) he was as brilliant as ever. We filmed a short video first of all and then did many sets in the living room and in the bedroom. I haven't had a weekend as fun as this one in a very very long time! Photos... well just see for yourself! Absolute blast to work with and to hang out with! Can not recommend Stu enough!

Right where do I start??? To be honest all you have to do is check out our images we got from our 4 hour shoot to realise how incredibly quick we worked. Bearing in mind every set was completely different to the last with a complete costume change including hair. My word was it fun!

Stu is fantastic at direction as he perfects the pose before taking the picture in order to get the picture perfect before moving on. The mood was so upbeat dancing around to the best music ever whilst still firing through sets.

I am blown away by the results we achieved. Great day! I'm still on a high!

WOWSERS! Where to start! I was travelling to Stus area again and casually mentioned to him in conversation about this. It turned out that he had had a cancellation for that Saturday so we decided to work together again at less than 48 hours notice! I managed to squeeze in a shoot with Stu on the way up to my friends home and I'm really glad I did!!

This was our second shoot together and it was as enjoyable as the first- perhaps more so, as I knew what to expect! ;) Stu is such a down to earth, laidback guy- and just takes rounds of stunning photographs effortlessly.

His styling is also fantastic and like with our first shoot together, he encouraged me to wear clothing that I wouldn't usually wear (cropped wigs, bow-ties and GOLD BODYPAINT! :) ) He gave great direction and the shots look absolutely beautiful.

I especialley LOVED the gold bodypaint which was applied (very professionaly might I add! :P ) which was great fun! Its not every day that you get to be painted gold after all! It was a bit of a pain getting it off (took several scrubs!) but definately worth it, the effect looked awesome!

His post processing of the images and editing is super fast and he was very kind to share these the same day. Such an awesome dude!! I can't wait to share these images on my portfolio,they are really top notch and have received so much positive feedback!

Stu is AWESOME, if you get the chance to work together, take it! I hope we work together lots- he always brings something new and fresh to my portfolio and I look forward to every shoot with him.

Such an amazing day! My first serious shoot and I could not be happier and more blown away with the results. I had so much fun working with Stu. He defiantly knew his stuff, and gave me some great tips and advice that I took onboard to help better myself as a model. From beginning to end he made me feel so comfortable and relaxed which was a big factor to me. We enjoyed some great 80s produced some amazing shots.

I would certainly recommend Stu, and I can't wait to have the pleasure of collaborating with him again! Thank you so much :)

Wow, what a day! I was lucky enough to shoot with Stu after a last minute cancellation, and I am so glad I got the opportunity as he was just brilliant! I knew from the loud Hawaiian shirt that greeted me in the car park that today's shoot was going to be fun, and I wasn't wrong! From 80's music to karaoke, random selfies and dancing, Stu's warmth and personality shon. Not only did he make me feel relaxed and comfortable in his studio, he was very professional and full of great tips too; he also uploaded completed images more or less immediately after the shoot. I would highly recommend working with Stu, and would love to work with him again, should I get the chance. Thank you :)

Had another amazing shoot with Stu last week, this time at Tim's Cottage. Event though the cottage was quite small Stu made amazing use of the space and got some amazing shots.

Yet again another fantastic shoot with Stu at the weekend, this time a girl/girl with Charlie Wild. As always, Stu was highly prepared with loads of creative ideas, props and bags of energy! Stu works at a relaxed yet productive pace and we managed to fit in many different sets in the 4 hours we had. Stu gives brilliant direction and knew how to pose us both in complimentary ways that worked with the different lighting setups. The photos are absolutely fantastic!

3 shoots in 2 months, looks like me and Stu have really hit it off! Another booked, and discussions of a 5th!!

My 'must be prepared' nature freaks out sometimes at Stu's relaxed and go with the flow style of planning. (We have time and outfits and apart from that there is no plan).

But you know, it really works! Stu is brilliant at conjuring the vision all of a sudden and is the best at direction, and the image is always mind blowing! He knows what he is doing!!

Can't wait for the next shoot!

How the hell did we manage to fit in so many great sets and get so many awesome images in four hours?! I'll tell you how... Because working with Stu is an indescribable and extraordinary experience! The time just flew by and I didn't want the shoot to end! Stu has some of the most wackiest ideas (shoving fish net tights over my head and shoulders being one of them) that you wouldn't normally think about doing but it just works so well haha! Our shoots are always so much fun, not forgetting our (terrible) dancing in between sets. Stu makes shoots relaxed, always having a little chin wag before we start which is so lovely. Before I even got home there were images already up and they are out of this world!

You have got to work with Stu if you haven't already. And even if you have, work with him again and again because I've worked with him several times now and his work is just amazing!

WHAT ON EARTH do I say about the sensational Stu! Aka Starglider!!

First and foremost... Its very rare that I come away from a shoot with as many images that I absolutely ADORE! So many of the images were keepers- Stu sets up the lighting so beautifully and just ROCKS every shot! His editing is also gorgeous and super fast!

I'm always a bit nervous working with someone for the first time- especialley on a full days shoot but from the get go, Stu was very down to earth, fun, loud (like myself!!) and the shoot was full of laughter!

Stu also had such fantastic props to work with- and I found myself falling for nipple clamps and collars (who would have thought!!) but the shots taken were artistic and beautiful and some of my favourites!!

Stu is an absolute master with lighting and makes you feel a million dollars (or should that be pounds!) and will add so much to your portfolio. We worked for the first half of the shoot at Stus home studio and then headed to the Hilton where Stu had kindly booked me a room for the evening.

I absolutely loved working with Stu and hope we work together lots! I cant wait to see the other edits! Super duper highly recommended! Thankyou so much Stu! Helen x

Just last week, at a studio not too too far away ......

It's a time for rebellion in the Dark Room, I had pursued across the internet, and driven from my hiding place on Instagram.

The lord Darth Glider, obsessed with capturing perfect images, dispatched thousands of camera clicks to the far reaches of his studio....

Stu was fab, bought me breakfast, supplied me with drinks and took amazing shots. Was great at direction and finding my best angles!! Excitedly lining up the next two shoots already!
