Shooting with me:

I've been shooting for years as a hobbyist photographer, working with people of varied appearances and personal backgrounds. The majority of my portfolio is from collaborations with new and first time models which is where I'm happiest: meeting a person whose path is otherwise unlikely to cross with mine, the intense 'getting to know you' process that comes with a few hours one to one with a stranger, providing the circumstances for them to be equally passionate about what we do and then delivering great images that represent us.  

I typically shoot from my home studio, on first impressions you might wonder how a house like mine can produce anything aesthetically pleasing but my albums are organised to make it easy to understand what can be done here. I am a 10-15 minute walk from Walsall train and bus stations and a 5 minute drive from the M6 j10. I have nearby outdoor locations from green to urban environments. You can make your favourite refreshments known in advance if shooting here. I can travel by public transport for outdoor location shoots or to shoot in a model's indoor location.

Compensation:

Collaborations are my preferred arrangement and you have an equal input in the direction of these if wanted. You will receive a minimum of 10 (normally noticeably more) fully edited shots delivered by the end of the second weekend after our shoot. We both get an equal say in which photos get edited and rejected. 

I can consider shooting content of your choice for your exclusive use on other sites in exchange for shooting my ideas for my portfolio. If wanting this please advise what you would like in terms of volume and timeframe for delivery.

In recent years due to changing circumstances I can now occassionally offer pay to someone offering exceptional value, something unique for my portfolio, or if I'm wanting freedom to experiment with an idea a little more. 

Etiquette:

I prefer communication on this site which is the safest practice although can follow your preferences. I like a clear plain language agreement of maximum shooting level in advance of a shoot to avoid misunderstandings. My references describe shooting with me more positively than I could do, I hope models I have previously shot with would be happy to confirm the genuine nature of these if needed. I am happy for you to make phone contact with friends/family throughout a shoot to confirm where you are, your safety and comfort. I only post on limited portfolio and social media sites. I am generally accommodating of any requests in terms of your usage and how you do or don't want to be tagged. If you have any special requirements for our shoot, please let me know.
