After many years in the industry, I am now retired. These days I shoot just for pleasure and that in itself gives me much more freedom!

My work is predominately art nude and portraits, some fashion but with a freer style, far less gear and far more open and experimental. As always it’s a team effort with a model, and ideas on both sides!! The more orginal and off the wall ideas the better. I am exploring more unusual composite work and also traditional art.

Due to the amount of image theft, I just keep some original material on the web to give models an idea of my previous work.

I now have a small photographic studio again and the advantage of a large very private garden in a secluded location. I do also shoot on location where possible

My references may be old now but it’s the same old reliable, easy-going,  chatty me and I can still point potential models to currently active models I know well for a modern reference. It's very safe, fun and my wife Julia, herself a specialist bird photographer is always on site 

Being a traditionist, all my models are paid at full current rates, food and drink provided, a private dressing room and some images will be provided for personal use. Minimum half days and usually full day shoots with no pressure. No chaperones though, too many bad experiences!

To avoid any confusion after several bizarre recent experiences, nude means just that, no clothes, including full frontal poses but nothing crude and respecting agreed limits in every way. I shoot as an art form not to look at naked bodies - I have seen more than most over the year! Models need to be open minded and wanting to participate to getting great images - experience is not crital, enthusiasm is far more important.
