My shoot with Shaun today at ML studios in Nottingham was certainly one of the most enjoyable shoots I have done. He is a top bloke, chatty, smart and incredibly easy going - this made for a great atmosphere and buzz in energy, and I quickly got into the spirit of our creative flow. His direction was perfect and we bounced ideas off eachother very well. It's not often you find a photographer so friendly and easy to get on with from the get go, and who so clearly knows what he's doing. I would work with him again in a flash! Thanks Shaun for a great shoot :)

I had a 4hour shoot but it went by like minutes. I felt totally comfortable, the studio was great, the experience was truly phenomenal. Mr Shaun sure kept the shoot entertaining with great conversations and explained the processes of what he was doing along the way. His work is truly impressive, spot-on, it was truly *7 star* Thanks, Mr Shaun. I really look forward to working with him again. I'll highly, highly recommend him.

Fantastic shoot with Shawn Parkes at Michael's ML studio....Lovely and very interesting guys to talk to made working a bonus and a pleasure. The communication was professional and comfortable and on shoot the interaction was just as easy. It was an easy interplay of ideas and Shaun obligingly listened to my suggestions and followed through. We respected each others ideas in order to obtain the best results and I was very happy with what we obtained. I would happily work with Shaun again and found the studio warm and clean {fab loo and to girlie standard} Thank you to both Shaun and Micheal keep up the excellent work your doing great !

Just a quick note to say thank you for all of the hard work and artistry Shaun brought to our shoot at Michael Lau Photography in Nottingham on Tue 25/08/2020.

After excellent pre-shoot comms I was sure we'd hit it off straight away and so it proved to be, with Shaun taking no time at all to stamp his mark on our shoot based on the look of DCS Christopher Foyle from the Anthony Horowitz-authored TV drama 'Foyle's War'. Shaun's light touch is paired with straightforward direction where need be, and this - combined with a wicked sense of humour - resulted in a very successful day all round.

A photographer who deserves all the success he achieves, and with whom I share a lot of outside interests, I can only offer Shaun very best wishes for a bright future and look forward to us working together on the couple of shoots we've already discussed as soon as possible.

Had an excellent shoot with Shaun today. Pre shoot comms were excellent. He's a genuinely lovely fella, very professional and he worked extremely hard to capture the various looks we were after during the shoot. We exchanged various ideas and covered a few different styles as the time flew by!

I loved this shoot! We’ve been talking for months so I already knew him really well. More like friends when the shoot came around. So relaxed and easy going. Up for trying new ideas and never pushed me! I couldn’t recommend this guy enough! The day was great and full of laughter. Collaboration between us was great. I have worked along side Shaun on many rugby game shoots. Usually we end up at opposite sides of the pitch so that we get the game from many angles. Shaun is an expert in all things photographic and he is my 'go to' person if I have any issues. His eye for the right shot is incredible whether its sport modelling scenery birds or his beloved aviation.

But that is only scratching the surface of who Shaun is. I do not mean to embarrass Shaun but he is a true gentleman, kind, gentle, thoughtful, supportive and a friend to all. He has encouraged me when needed, advised and helped whenever I have needed it (even when I did not realise when I needed it!)

If you have not worked with Shaun - why not!

This was my second shoot with Shaun and he was just as professional as the first time I worked with him. He came to my house as we had decided to do a studio shoot from my home, he arrived on time and really prepared with all the relevant lighting and props needed. He was kind and friendly as always and made me feel so relaxed whilst shooting. He had plenty of ideas and was not pushy when it came to my levels of modelling. We created some beautiful images that are really high quality and I am so pleased with them. He is nothing but professional, I would definitely recommend anyone to work with him. Will definitely be working with him again soon :)

Had my first shoot with Sparx today. Hes very lovely and respectful. Pre comms were good. Even though things didn't go to plan because the equipment didn't want to work properly im looking forward to seeing what images we got. I would definitely have another shoot with Sparx.

Met shaun when he accompanied a friend to help him out on a his first model shoot today. Shaun was a pleasure to work with and I enjoyed watching him help his friend without being overbearing and intruding on the shoot. He was a fun conversationalist and was really easy to work with.

Worked with Shaun today at Map Studios. Shaun's pre comms were great and I got a feel for the kind of images he wanted to create.

Shaun was a pleasure to shoot with, he is so relaxed, friendly and we had a fantastic chat about life, sharing stories and it was really lovely to get to know him.

We shot some beautiful images too, ranging from dance inspired movement to some figure nudes with various props.

I really enjoyed our two hours together and Shaun comes highly recommended from me :)

First shoot with Shaun today and it was such fun partly due to the great comms we had prior to the shoot. The time absolutely flew by and Shaun had found us some brilliant locations to shoot in and the images I have had the opportunity to see are fabulous. Looking forward to seeing the rest.

Not only is Shaun fun to work with but he is also very professional and I would totally recommend him to work with if you haven’t done so already, you won’t regret it.

I had the pleasure of working with Shaun today and a pleasure it was indeed! This guys communication has been excellent throughout. Despite a last minute change of plan by yours truly and a last minute health issue Shaun arrived before time and donning a genuine smile. We set to on the shoot and it was panning out well but just minutes into it we were sadly interrupted by pc plod and the site owner 8D.

Sparx was completely unfazed and happily drove to my substitute location.

A delight to work with from start to finish, special note has to go to his excellent photography knowledge and laid back manner. A delight to talk to I thoroughly enjoyed working with Shaun and would recommend him in a heartbeat. A true gentleman with impeccable manners. I hope i get the honour again. Thank you!!!! :)

Shot with Shaun today on a baby shoot he had put up to build his portfolio. Even though my little one wouldn't look at the camera and then got too tired to carry on, Shaun remained patient and professional. He had travelled over 2 hours and unfortunately we only got to shoot for 1 hour or so. If you get a chance to shoot with Shaun then please do.

A simply fantastic shoot with Shaun! We had been talking for a while so already had a good rapport, but this was our first meeting and shoot together. Shaun is so easy to get on with, very friendly, talkative, and respectful. I felt very comfortable with him and our shoot flew by. Shaun is a gentleman and kindly offered to take me home, and we had a good chat in the car too.

I decided that I would pop a short notice casting up this morning as I had a rare day off work. Shaun replied in no time, looking to collaborate on a shoot and said that he would be able to shoot on such short notice. Shaun got to the studio space and was very pleasant and professional! It was a real pleasure to work with Shaun on one of my first shoots back into modelling and I would certainly recommend Shaun to any model that wants to work with him!

Well what can I say about this wonderfull photographer that hasn't already been said??

I had my first shoot with Sean today and the shoot went as perfect as our pre comms suggested. Pre shoot we made many mood boards and came up with a vast amount of ideas and were well prepared for shooting.

Together we produced a good proportion of our ideas in a number of locations and worked just as well and even better than we thought we would! Sean made our shoot fun and light hearted whilst keeping to total professionalism. We had a great laugh, conversation and ideas flowed so naturally and I would highly recommend him to anyone! He really helped me to go that extra mile and push the boat out. Thank you so so much and I look forward to our next shoot together :) Xxx
