Hi, I'm a Vogue published, seasoned photographer, who enjoys and pursues all aspects of photography. I have many great surroundings and locations nearby..I would prefer to work with models, male or female, who also like to provide suggestions and two way input. My biggest aim in photography is to have fun and enjoy what I'm doing, hopefully that will be infectious..... I have exclusive access to many locations, which include,

An old farmhouse complex with 2 run down barns, a farmhouse and a mine

A lake with a summerhouse

1940 onwards restored tractors and diggers including an old Jaguar car

And acres and acres of woodland, with various artifacts, even old baths in it !!

Plus I live near a beach with a lighthouse and harbour. I like to work "off the wall" a bit and like to try new slants on things, so I am also open to suggestion, my RL job is an engineer, so I can even rig things, including scaffolding. The exchange of telephone numbers / Pre shoot comms

I will always tender my contact number on the acceptance of a booking and would prefer the model to do the same, as it is always more useful to introduce each other, and discuss the shoot..i.e what costume/clothes might be necessary for what the model/photographer is trying to achieve, also for locations, meeting and times etc ... 

My View on Chaperones

Following a recent experience, I share the same views on the presence and need for chaperones as Mr Orson Carter, if you are under 18, then I totally appreciate the need for a chaperone to be present, but older models need to demonstrate trust in not only me but other photographers, my references speak reams for my behaviour towards models, I will however make exceptions if a model cannot drive/travel alone or convince me as to why they really need to be accompanied.

I am possibly returning to model photography after several years break. Before taking a sebastical, I was published over 3 successive months in Vogue UK, I had free access to Compulsive magazine in the US, and I still have the editor as a friend and contact in messenger.

 

Please do not ask me to shoot nude, cos the camera strap chaffs!!!   LOL :)
