References for The Snowdrop Studio

I worked at Snowdrop Studio for the first time the other day and had such a lovely time! :) I'm always a little nervous working at unfamiliar studios but Sarah is a fantastic host, very warm and kind and instantly put me at ease.

The home and studio is nestled away from the main road overlooking fields and is beautifully presented with a great energy throughout.

The kitchen was a lovely natural light area to shoot in and the boudoir bedroom was a great space for Old Hollywood style photography.

The studio section of the house was a great space with lighting, backdrops and accessories galore! It is such a great home and space to shoot for all photographer experiences in a real home from home environment.

Facilities and parking were excellent and Sarah made us all feel very welcome with refreshments, chocs and sweets to keep us all going! :)

I really hope to return in the future, highly recommend to all. Thankyou Sarah for a lovely day 🌹 Helen x

It was a very nice shoot at the Snowdrop studio and Sarah helped us with everything. Good communication, plenty of parking space, nice equipments - looking for more shoots here.

This is such a comfortable place to be. Sarah is an excellent host and a great help with any of the many practical matters that turn up during a shoot. The fact that there never seems to be enough time to make use of anything but a fraction of the opportunities the studio (which is, in effect, the whole house) has to offer means you just keep coming back.

Another shoot at Snowdrop, and as per previous visits, a great space to work in with an awesome host in Sarah. Literally nothing is too much trouble, if help or assistance is needed, or she just lets you get on with it.

Sarah helped placate the nerves of the model, as she'd not shot in a long time and this was a confidence booster for her and is the main reason I chose the studio for this purpose.

Highly recommended by me and I have no doubt will be back soon too...

Wow, what an amazing day working at the Snowdrop Studio. Shooting with multiple models was always going to be tricky. Thank heavens Sarah was on hand. Not only had she prepared the studio and house exactly how I had requested, she went above and beyond what was required. Sun shades, cushions, gin shack where all made available and used. She is a great portable refector holder and acutaly made my life so easy by being able to assist me. She had made an area for the models to do their make up which was so much better than I had expected. All models were greeted and shown around by Sarah, and of course refreshments were on hand throughout the day to keep us all fueled. As I said it was an an amazing awesome day. Snowdrop Studio is totally higly recommended. I cant wait to get back there again.

Was lucky to be able to shoot at Snowdrop shortly after it re-opened after holidays. This was my third visit and I’m only now beginning to appreciate just how much the studio offers. As seems usual Sarah had uprated the facilities, yet again. This time with Godox RGB 500 coloured light tubes, much easier than gels, and with so many rooms available the effects you can achieve are pretty amazing. Sarah also puts in real effort to make the shoot enjoyable and was, as usual, fizzing with ideas.

First time shooting at Snowdrop studio and I have kitchen envy!!! 😂 It’s a great studio, pre shoot comms we’re absolutely spot on, Sarah is great, the studio has everything you could possibly need and it’s a really relaxed space to create in. Highly recommended!!

What wonderful studio hosts Mark and Sarah are. They have a lovely studio with many room options. We used the studio lights set up and the kitchen which is gorgeous. Matt and I the tog had a fantastic shoot. Cup of tea upon arrival and always asked if we wanted a drink. I shot with Mark 10 years ago and my memory went foggy but then I recalled he was very professional even back then. So thank you for your hospitality to both. And loved your cute cats who are very friendly. Definitely a studio id use in the future. Thanks again 😊

My 5th time at this studio and it remains one of my favourite places to shoot.

Host Sarah is warm and welcoming and her props box is a veritable Aladdins Cave of delights. It seems that whatever bizarre idea I might come up with on the spur of the moment, she always has something to suit.

This time we played with some new coloured lights and the enormous parabolic reflector.

If you haven't been yet, don't hesitate - my next visit is already booked!

Another shoot at this great studio, this time trying out the owner Sarah’s truly humongous 90” parabolic reflector and two light sticks. Sarah is the perfect host and really knows her stuff, so always happy to help out. Highly recommended.

This should actually count as two references as I have shot there twice in a month. The first time with the lovely Mel Tongue, and surprisingly it was her first time there. Sarah was on hand to help with everything. The studio was spotless. Everything I needed to make the perfect shoot. However we decided to use other areas of the studio. The amazing kitchen, the room full of shoes and a landing all just begging to be shot in.

Sarah was always there , out of sight but bring teas and coffees when we most needed them.

The second shoot was with the lovely Sarah herself. As always she was shoot ready when I arrived. We had planned to use some of her new glow sticks which worked very well. Had a wrestle with a giant softbox, and managed to move her lights all around her house. Sarah, as always had an amazing collection of lingerie to wear, and she is just so easy to shoot.

If you ask nicely then Sarah does do extras when shooting her in the studio. The bacon sarnie to start the day was just the ticket as well as the endless cups of coffee. The fact that she knew I was coming again in October she showed me a number of other places I could shoot in the studio, in the the gin bar and of course the hot tub.

This is one amazing studio, run by an amazing lady. Highest recommendation ever. Can not wait to go back.

Wow what an amazing studio and Sarah is such a lovely host!

Lots of great rooms to use and what a shoe room and collection, as well as a fully equipped studio. I'm not going to lie, I wanted to move in!

Fab studio and I very highly recommend it to all!

What more do I need to add - Sarah is lovely, she has more stuff in her house/studio that myself and my wife have together - that is something!

So easy to talk too, there if you need her and will leave you alone to get on with things...

My second shoot at Snowdrop and now that the newness of using a studio as a photographer has begun to wear off I’m beginning to see what a find this studio is. The studio room itself is compact but very thoughtfully laid out and the enthusiasm for photography of the owner is clear to see in the array of different set ups available. We used octoboxes, soft boxes, beauty lights and a tri-reflector as we played with different settings, and I could see snoot lights and others I couldn’t identify as well as different types of reflector, and, of course backdrops, available for use as well.

But what marks this studio out as special is all the other potential areas to shoot in. There is a large modern kitchen, a conservatory, bedrooms, sitting room, a ‘shoe room’! and an upstairs hallway that offer obvious opportunities: all of which are well thought out and spotlessly kept. Having used fine commercial studios for work I feel confident to say that in terms of variety, quality and equipment Snowdrop as a package is pretty special. But….don’t use it, I want to keep it for myself!

Another excellent shoot with the gorgeous Sarah at the Snowdrop studio, this time making use of the new parabolic. Sarah always keeps the studio fresh with new lights, backdrops and other equipment so it's different every time. Sarah is also a great hostess providing endless supplies of tea and coffee. Roll on the next shoot at Snowdrop!

As an inexperience photographer there seems something daunting about all the various things you think you need to understand if you want to successfully shoot in a studio. Finding one that will comfortably ease you into the process is important. In my case I can’t speak highly enough of Snowdrop. In a very nice area this house studio offers so much to a photographer with different rooms available as well as beautifully kept ‘proper’ studio space. Sarah, the owner, made sure any first time nerves disappeared swiftly. Theoretical and practical advice, as well as copious amounts of coffee, was handed out, and in a way that was easy to manage. As a result I’m happier with the first studio photos I’ve taken than I could ever have hoped for. A small selection, mostly only just cropped I’ll include in the album Sarah75.

Superb studio with an amazing array of features, props and equipment. The bonus of being able to use the house and a variety of themed rooms is ideal. 4 hours is never enough. Clean and Covid compliant, accessible and available at the drop of a hat. Would not shoot anywhere else
