I absolutely love working with Alan he’s one in a million and I would class him as a good friend too. I have so much fun with him and I would say we always get some amazing images. I agreed to shoot with Alan at Montrose studio last week at quite short notice and I’m so glad I did! The shoot was a great success and I thoroughly enjoyed working with Alan - he is very down to earth with a laidback style of shooting which enabled me to express my creativity during the shoot and create some really fabulous shots. I was kindly picked up and dropped off at Stockport station which was very much appreciated since I didn’t know the area. I would highly recommend Alan to any model looking to work with him.

I am very happy with my shoot with Alan, it went really well. We shot at @Studio Old Swan and Alan greeted me with a big smile and was very eager to shoot and capture some amazing images, which he did.

Alan has a pleasant and kind personality so our shoot went in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and we did quite a few of different set ups and encompassed different looks.

Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Alan contacted us after we put out a casting for our remaining July dates and I was so pleased that he did. He arranged for a small group, 2 photographers and 2 models to attend our location to shoot for half a day. All pre comms were great and he made everything very easy to organise.

Alan and his group arrived on time with everything they needed for a great shoot. After a quick tour around and a natter he began shooting. During his time here he was incredibly respectful of our location and happy to ask if he ever needed anything.

We would of course highly reccomend Alan, he is polite, friendly and easy to have around. We very much look forward to welcoming him back to Basford again soon!! Thank you so much Alan!!

I feel honoured that Alan asked me to work with him at Basford. He knew how much I wanted to visit and he made it happen. What a day! The location is breathtaking and me and Alan work through quite a few sets together getting some amazing images. I genuinely love working with Alan he’s one in a million.

One of the very best people you could meet! Alan is such a genuinely down to earth and friendly person. I can talk away with him like I’ve known him a long time, it’s only our second shoot! Says a lot about how lovely Alan is. This time we had another brilliant shoot but at wortley top forge, I’ve wanted to go for a while and after mentioning it to Alan he made that happen! The time flew by, the weather was beautiful and we got some really amazing shots. Thank you Alan for such a good day.

Brilliant shoot!!

After a bad experience recently I have to say, working with Alan today not only helped me regain my composure and confidence it’s helped lift my spirits so much! Alan is so laid back, I knew instantly I’d get along great with him and we did, we had a brilliant shoot. Alan is very talented he’s also happy to show the back of the camera which I thought was very kind it also wowed me, I loved the images! The time flew by, the shoot flowed nicely, Alan is amazing.

Genuinely can’t recommend him enough.

Hip Hip Urray - we continue our photo adventures also in 2023.

Alan was very kind to invite me to the tankSpace shoot. Thank you so so much for the trust given.

At all times I felt comfortable and at ease. Alan is very good at giving directions when and if needed and the 4 hrs just flew by.

We have worked together now quite a few times - and no shoot has ever repeated itself. Alan is very creative and always all information given prior the shoot.

It was one of my favorite shoots ever, as I was trusted to do smth I never have done before - and the Images I have received are just superb.

Alan not only gives you a chance to prove yourself, but he is also always ready to capture the best images possible within the time frame given. He very well reads my motion and can predict in time manner what I will do.

AND one more brilliant shoot with Alan.

He always brings new ideas on the set - and this time he treated us, models, with TankSpace shoot and raindrops.

Alan is really an artist - he will go to lengths to achieve that idea. Guidance is given when and if needed, at all times your comfort and safety are checked - double-checked, triple-checked, and he will get himself in the rain do help you with the idea. He also used gel lights that turned the rain into nice dripping colors.

The highest recommendation possible - he is one of the ones, that will work outside the box, and will communicate with you throughout the process, so you always know what is happening, which makes it very easy to pose for him.

After this shoot - I experienced a headrush I haven't had in a long time - meaning - I am super excited and inspired and gained back my lost confidence. I am in total awwww about yesterday's shoot and looking forward to sharing images with the world.

2nd time meeting Alan but first time 1 to 1 shoot.

Alan had this idea of western geisha shoot and he went above and beyond to help me to get the look for the shoot - amazing input and great communication all the way- prior, during and after the shoot.

On the day he was very kind to meet me at the city centre sonde arrived to the studio together.

Shoot went so smooth that we managed to get record of the images in time frame given.

What really stood out - he knows what you are about to do before you know it - he sees where you are going with the pose and he captures Most of my movement ppses with the first shot.

After so successful shoot we needed to discuss some future ideas as well - definatly more shoots to come.

Highest recommendation possible - he is a true gentelmen, works in relaxed manner, recommended for both professionals and beginners in the field.

First time I met Alan on "Something speacial" event organised by Chriss.

We got lucky to be able to start straight away.

We both, after quick look around, came to terms on what we can create, and off shooting we went.

We used bathroom set, and tried to work more with shapes and a little bit with portraits and moody portraits as well.

Alan understood my pose flow within 1st minute, and he was amazing to catch me on moments were I tried to balance myself.

At all times I felt comfortable, Alan is patient, he sees what you are doing/trying to do/ and at all times he is focused with you - team effor without a doubt towards interesting images.

We used every corner in bathroom and somehow managed even to finish 10 min before the next swap wich gave us time to get to know more about each ithers work and plan some future possibilities.

Thabk you a lot, Alan, for diving into capturing risky poses and being patient while I balanced there.
