I had an amazing first model evening at Skia Fos Studios last night, working with three photographers over three hours.

Darren had expertly and creatively made up the Christmas set, all of the presents were wrapped, the baubles and wreath were up and we had some cute props to throw into the mix too.

The studio itself is high end and very spacious. It has everything you need set up as soon as you arrive. It’s ideal for models too with its changing room/makeup area and its very own Skia Fos bathrobe and coat hangers too! Darren and Damien are also attentive and friendly hosts, they made me feel welcome throughout the entirety of the shoot, the place is also spotless, clean and ready for use.

EJM Studios

I recently had a client 'portfolio update' shoot to arrange and following discussions with my client, she choose this studio. This was very much acceptable to me as this studio is less than 30 minutes from my home.

Booking the studio for our 4 hour session was made easy by the owners and following a brief discussion, all my (and my clients) questions were answered and requirements met with no issues at all.

This was my first chance to utilise Skia Fos Studio and its facilities.

I have to say I was extremely impressed!

The location is simple to find, parking was easy and upon entry into the office/waiting area, you are met with a bright clean and fresh atmosphere and nothing but a professional, polite and friendly attitude from the owners. My client felt at ease straight away which was wonderful.

I was familiarised with the lighting systems in the studio and their operation of course as well as all the other options for lighting and all the defusers available.

Following a short tour of the studio and all the other facilities available, my client and I were left in the studio to begin our shoot.

During our entire 4 hours, one if not both owners were on site in the office if we needed them.

As it happened we didn't, but it's nice to know if you have questions there's someone around to call on.

I should and want to point out, we were left without interruption throughout the whole 4 hours.

Personally, I really value this approach as repetitive interruptions can result in loosing the flow throughout the shoot as well as disturbing to the client(s)

All in all, I must highly recommend this studio to all photographers and models as well as the general public.

It's clear, although a new studio, both owners have years of experience in this industry and it shows in how the studio operates and the high levels of professionalism from the start of the booking process right up to leaving the premisses at the end of the days shooting.

I wish both Darren and Damien the very best of luck going forward. I see no reason why this new venture cannot succeed. I look for to my next visit and creating in there spaces once again.
