I'm an enthusiastic aspiring hobbyist photographer, currently favouring film over digital where I'm able and looking to build a more structured portfolio. At the moment I'm specifically I'm currently looking to expand and improve my portrait work, but I'd never say no to something with an ethereal air of eccentricity :) I'm inspired by photographers like Chase Jarvis, Zack Arias and Rick Nunn (you should look them all up if you don't know who they are). I'm colourblind and this is occasionally challenging - sometimes my images turn out a little cold!

I've been behind an SLR for a few years now but only taken it forward in the last 12 months where I was asked to shoot the entire staff at the company I worked for - a mix of professional portraits for company literature and some more casual, creative shots for office decoration, and then again something similar for another company I was providing technical consultancy to at a team event! I've played photographer at family weddings, and also covered several events for a local paper. I have ventured into the studio with an equally inexperienced model and it was not *dreadful* but I'm keen to work with some people who may have been in the industry a while and are comfortable in their role to help me grow in my experience with directing people and things like that. However, if you're not in that camp and you have a great idea and you think we might work well, let's talk anyway!
