54yr old Alternative and Fetish photographer based in Birmingham UK.

Been doing photography for around 25 years and specializing in alt & fet for around 6 years. Learnt my way through darkroom techniques of developing and cross processing on medium format film which I still occasionally do when I get chance. I take the time to study the light to get the best effect on what subject I am shooting. Influenced by Dorothea Lange and Russell Lee's camera work and Damian Lovegrove's light work. Only use Lightroom to edit, can't use photoshop, don't intend to start learning. Rather shoot on location than add it in post.

Synergy is a studio area around 4 miles from the city centre. Its approx 12' x 14' with three backdrops, white , grey, black, wooden floor and ceiling mounted lighting. Rooms have grey walls, oak mantles and fireplaces, shutter blinds to give the art noir look. Kitchen and private changing areas. I have access to full developing, processing printing and framing facilities. Very large maintained rear garden with various different areas for discrete shoots, decking, pond, summer house, trees and bushes.

Experienced in Fetish work for action scenes and posed shots as well as discrete private work with few limitations. I won't shoot female full nude, topless or genitals unless its a natural progression of a scene. Female clothed only preferred, male can be either dressed or naked. I have shot at events and private work at several fetish clubs and also as one of the event photographers for the Alternative & Burlesque fair and Horrorcon. NUJ registered. I shoot various stock, architectural and landscapes to relax and also occasional photography volunteer for the CWGC project.
