Sho is a lovely lady to work with! She was excellent at understanding dance modelling as she has had an excellent career in dance herself. She had amazing communication skills before the shoot, I really understood the idea that she had, this helped me massively to prepare.

We had an early morning shoot on the beach and cliffs and she was very relaxed and calm with her work. She did not put any pressures on me as a model. We got some really great pictures together. Without a doubt i would reccomend Sho to anybody!

Sho was a pleasure to work with.

We had great communication before the shoot. Loads of messages, a zoom call and a fully equipped shoot plan. I knew exactly what the aim and theme of the shoot were. We discussed the style of poses and looked at inspirational images. Our 4hr shoot was spread over 2 locations, the beach and the cliffs over looking a lighthouse. Sho really looked after me and was very prepared with snacks and water etc. :)

We worked really well together and I cannot wait to see the results! From what I saw from the back of the camera the images will be great. Sho really understands dancers and how to get the best perspective/angles for jumps and to compliment ballet positions.

I fully recommend working with Sho, she was a delight and I really look forward to keeping in contact and hopefully working together again soon!

What an amazing lady!

Sho contacted me about a shoot and i was delighted to head up to Eastbourne and shoot with her for the day. Our original plans had to change due to typical English weather as we were hoping to go on location but bless her, she arranged a lovely studio and explained that it was important for me to be warm and comfortable. Something that some may not think of. Although we had to change our ideas, the styles still stayed the same and we rocked them in the studio. Sho was always professional making sure i was happy and having regular breaks and just a joy to model for. Very easy to communicate with and this made the flow of the day even better as we were having a good natter all the way through. Her attention to detail is amazing and she knows exactly what she wants to achieve from every set and i think we nailed it :-) I give Sho the very highest of recommendations and hope to have the pleasure of working with her again in the future. This is a terribly belated reference, for which my sincere apologies to Sho- but I had another great shoot with Sho in Scotland last month when she hired me for an all- day workshop with the Yerburys. On the second day, we shot beach ballet, and she achieved beautiful effects with the blue tones and reflections, and also, because of Sho's own dance training, she got me to try a jazz move I've never done before.

Sho, with the great kindness typical of her, put me up in the Scottish Equi Hotel, which was an inspired choice. The Equi Hotel is a fantastic, unique place for animal lovers- and they generously gave us permission to take photos with their splotchy horses on my last day there, and I think there, again, Sho got some really lovely images.

Sho is always terrific to work with- pre -shoot communications are clear and professional (she is the only photographer I've worked with who makes use of the "shoot plan"- which is very helpful in pre-shoot preparations).

The fact that Sho is herself trained as a dancer helps immeasurably, as she possesses an in-depth and detailed understanding of the discipline of dance, and the dance photography genre- she knows the importance of body lines and angles, for example, and appreciates the fact that dancers will need to warm up sometimes prior to particularly demanding movements, in order to obtain optimal results and remain injury free- and I think any dance or gymnastic model would be duly grateful for that.

Highly recommended, and I hope we will work together soon.

Had another fantastic shot with Sho, this time in Glasgow. She very kindly booked an apartment for us to work and stay in, and we spent a pleasurable and creative day and a half experimenting with lighting, and with body lines and shapes, and playing with fashion and accessories.

As always, Sho's pre-shoot communications were clear and professional- she is the only photographer on here who actually uses the "Shoot Plan" application in my experience, which was useful as I then knew what to pack and bring. Sho kindly showed me around Glasgow, introducing me to galleries, artwork, and beautiful architecture I have never before seen in person- including the beautiful painting of Anna Pavlova by John Lavery. Sho's suggestion of shooting in The Lighthouse was also inspired and inspiring, as it was an eye opener for me, and the elegant geometries of Rennie Mackintosh designs helped inform our work with line and shape. Sho gives great clear direction, and her own dance background is invaluable in fine- tuning poses. Overall, it was relaxed, creative photoshoot, taking time to get lighting and positions right, and the images Sho kindly showed me on the back of her camera were pleasing and varied- I think we got some really lovely shots.

Highly recommended, and I hope we will work together again. Thank You, Sho. :)

I love working with Sho- our latest shoot was, I think, our fourth shoot together- so when she contacted me to say she was visiting London, I jumped at the chance of working with her again. Sho's dance background means she brings a wealth of knowledge to dance shoots, and I'm always grateful for that- it's lovely to work with someone who understands that a dancer may need to warm up before a particular pose or leap in order to obtain optimal results, and stay injury-free.

This was primarily a fashion shoot, interspersed, inevitably, with a little bit of dance, and, again, I was grateful to Sho for giving me the opportunity to do a shoot which was different from my norm. We had a lovely relaxed day, shooting along London's Southbank, with regular breaks for hot drinks and scones. Sho was, as always, professional and considerate, and the images she kindly showed me on the back of her camera looked beautiful.

Highly recommended, and I hope we will work together again. Thank You, again, Sho. :)

Sho booked me for a shoot last week after I put out a casting call trying to fill some leftover dates I had. She got in touch to say she wasn't available on the dates I was trying to fill, but would love to shoot in the future.

We arranged a date we were both free fairly swiftly and Sho very quickly put together a very clear and concise plan for our shoot, involving locations to shoot, suggestions for clothing and a general idea of what we'd be doing.

On shoot day, Sho turned up early, which, coupled with her knowledge of the location and shoot plan, allowed us to make a swift start. Sho was very well prepared and knew exactly what she wanted to achieve with the photos.

Sho was very happy to pick out specific locations and direct me to get the best photos for her, but also allow me the creativity to pose as I wished too.

Throughout the shoot, Sho was very confident and comfortable talking me through different aspects of photography, and just chatting generally - which made me very comfortable in front of the camera. Sho also showed me the photos she was taking as we worked, and they looked excellent.

Overall, Sho was a pleasure to work with - really comfortable, confident and full of great conversation. She has an obvious passion for photography, backed up by great knowledge. I highly recommend Sho to all models and would definitely work with her again!

Sho and I shot together while I was up in Scotland on tour recently. Her pre-shoot comms were super, and she let me know what she had in mind and also reassured me that she is always considerate of safety issues (we planned to shoot some en pointe but only if the ground was safe to do so at the location). The location she found was a lovely beach - and we even had weather to suit! We shot some ballet (there was a decking that was safe to do en pointe) and Sho's dance background made it a very different ballet shoot to those I've had before. Her direction was great, and as someone who started ballet and pointe as an adult, I was very reassured that I was being directed by someone with so much more knowledge than me! We then did some sets down by the sea, with voiles and splashing and jumping around in the sea - it was great fun :) Finally we headed up into the village and did some fashion in a gorgeous derelict church. Sho took me for coffee and a meal in a local cafe post-shoot and we had a really nice chat. I really can't recommend Sho enough to other models, she is a wonderful person and a very considerate photographer to shoot with. I hope we can shoot again in the future :)

I had my first shoot with ShoB a couple of weeks ago and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Before a date was set she made sure we knew what it was we were after in the shoot and that we were both on the same page with it all. On the shoot day she was friendly, supportive and relaxed which made the shoot an enjoyable experience. We played around with different ideas and the initial shots from the back of the camera showed there were some with a lot of potential. I look forward to seeing the finished works and would happily recommend ShoB to any model.

Had another fantastic shoot with Sho yesterday. It was our third time working together, and I think it may have been the best. :) It was an all-day outdoor ballet shoot in Eastbourne. Pre-shoot communications were great, as always, and Sho kindly picked me up from the station. We had beautiful weather, and we spent the day making ballet images of grand jetés (split leaps), and a variety of dance steps on the Downs and on the beach. Sho very kindly treated me to lunch and a hot chocolate during the course of the day, which was very typical of how considerate she is to models/dancers- she always gives you time to have a break, or to warm up your muscles if you are performing more strenuous physically demanding poses.

Sho's background in professional dance gives her rare insight. She understands a dancer's perspective, and her own experience in dance has made her especially conscientious about ethical treatment and training of dancers, and she applies this same consideration in working with models. She is always a pleasure to work with and to talk to. The images which she showed me on the back of her camera looked really beautiful, it was a highly productive day.

I think this is my forth shoot with Sho and each time it gets better and better.

This time we shot around Glasgow's business district, I wore just one outfit-winter coat and hat. We have great light and the weather was very kind to us, so we were able to get some stunning shots. Sho has a great eye for the perfect composition and she knows how to use light beautifully.

Sho is one of my favourite people to work with and I always look forward to our shoots when I am up in Scotland.

Had a terrific second shoot with Sho yesterday. It was an all day location Shoot in Eastbourne, combining ballet and fashion, and Sho sent me a shoot plan well in advance so I could prepare accordingly. Sho kindly picked me up from the station, and we spent the day happily shooting away on the beach, in gardens with classical colonnades, at colorful beach huts, and, briefly, on the Downs. She kindly showed me the pictures on the back of her camera as we went along, and the results she was getting looked beautiful.

It is an especial pleasure to work with Sho, beecause of her own dance background. She understands and appreciates dance photography both from a dancer's perspective, and a photographer's, and that dual perspective is a rare and invaluable thing. It was a real treat, being beside the seaside with Sho, and I hope we get to repeat the experience again soon.

What a lovely person to spend the day with shooting! Sho was an absolute delight to work with, friendly, funny and chatty making the day fly by considerably. She sent me a shoot plan which enabled me to prep accordingly.

We worked through several ideas, from art nude through to some seasonal beach hut style shots. Overall a fantastic day with quality images.

Highly recommended by me and I would love to shoot with her again!

Had a brilliant time shooting with Sho recently on my tour in Scotland. Pre communications was impeccable, Sho was very easy going, bubbly, friendly and knowledgeable.

Before the shoot commenced Sho made sure I had suffice travel arrangements/accommodation and sent me a detailed plan of how our day together was going to work.

On the day we manged to shoot both studio and location work and whilst shooting I was made to feel very comfortable and we both put our ideas together to produce great results.

Overall an awesome day with a wonderful lady and I could not recommend her enough.

She is professional, chatty and most importantly, she knows what she is doing. She was a great problem solver and brought a whole array of accessories to use as props. I'm so glad to have had the chance to shoot with Sho during my tour of Scotland this week. I have rarely enjoyed a day of shooting so much - Sho is great company, so interesting to talk to, and full of creativity.
