It was such a pleasure to meet and create with John during my Dublin tour, I am so glad we've had this opportunity to bang our heads together and unleash some art!

First of all, John is such an awesome person - kind, considerate, friendly, awesome sense of humour and down to earth.

He is an artist, and his creativity, skills and vision are extraordinary, it was amazing to see him in action. His portfolio speaks for itself, and his work is very much reminiscent of the old master paintings, which I'm very fond of. It's art, and it's breathtaking.

I am so so excited to see the final images, because there were so many awesome BOC shots, and I know John will turn them into masterpieces.

I am so glad we have met and got to create together, I feel like we are on the same wavelength and felt completely comfortable and relaxed in his great company.

Absolutely and highly recommended by me, until next time John!

A couple of days ago it was my first time working with Shinu and what a pleasure it was! We were following each other’s work for a while and I’ve always admired his photography style and how creative and thoughtful every single one of his photos is.

Pre comms were excellent and I was given ideas prior which really helped me to better understand his vision for our shoot.

As soon as I arrived I instantly felt comfortable as he was friendly, professional and a true gentleman from the get go. His creativity and personality really shone and he captured some truly striking images.

Trust the process and Shinu’s vision and you will be rewarded with amazing results 🤩

I am very very happy with the session we had and I would happily work with him again! One of the best and most creative sessions I’ve had in a long time.

Wow wow wow what can I say? I have been a fan of Johns work for a long time. I adore the fine art aspect of photography and adore his work so I was delighted when he wanted to work with me during this amazing tour of Ireland.

John really kindly offered to accommodate me as well for 2 nights and even gave up his bed for me.

We had become firm friends on social media so I felt like I knew him already.

John kindly met me in Dublin on Friday and we enjoyed a long chat and a few drinks, he then took me for dinner which was beautiful.

We took a uber back to his house and discussed our ideas for the shoot the next day then ordered a lovely pizza.

Yesterday we woke up and after several coffees travelled to Johns studio.

He has a lovely studio space which is clean and warm with tons of props, lighting, costumes etc.

We had a rough idea of what we both wanted to achieve but deidede to also go with the flow.

We managed around 8/9 different sets and also visited a lovely local deli that made the best sandwich I have had in a long time.

John made sure I was comfortable throughout the day giving me plenty of breaks and making sure I wasn't too hot or cold.

We got really creative using long exposure as well which is something I adore doing and the images are fantastic. We are both really excited to see the final edited images.

We laughed non stop and the day flew by so fast.

We shot for around 6 hours then travelled back to Johns where we had dinner and then he let me go through the images on the PC selecting my favourites for him to edit.

John did a edit for me there and then after we both fell in love with the same image and it was absolutely stunning. He even did me a amazing A3 print to take away with me to mount at home which was so lovely.

Today John kindly accompanied me back to Dublin to catch my bus to my next shoot.

One of the kindest and most talented photographers I have ever worked with. Highly recommended and I really really hope we get to work together again.

I've been wanting to shoot with Shinu forever, finally the stars aligned and my wish was granted!

You do get a feel for people when you talk to them online and I knew we'd get on but he is outright awesome!

Lovely person, made me feel welcome immediately and like we'd been friends for years.

Then we shot the most epic of images, his ideas are hugely creative and you can see why he gets the fab results he does - such an amazing attention to detail.

I will most definitely return to shoot with this absolute star!

Had the pleasure to create with Shinu in my first trip to Dublin. He has been great in pre shoot communications, flexible and open to ideas, respectful of my boundaries and very fun to work with. During the session, we worked through ideas one by one and manage to take a good number of amazing shots in an efficient manner.

He is also a master in post production which complements the shooting process perfectly.

I can just say, do not miss a shoot with Shinu John!

I’ve invited Shinu for collab some time ago, we had 4 models, 1 assistant and the shoot went amazing, love the result, to say the least.

He directed us very naturally, and when we got to the point where we were complete nude - all of us were comfortable, even tho for some of the girls it was the first time. I was nervous before the shoot, but now I'm looking for more collabs with him.

Shinu invited me to come to Ireland to create some work together... and what a trip it was. I Will be forever greatfull for this opportunity!

Shinu was such a Nice and warm person. He was so hospital and i felt really comfortable and taken Care of.

We clicked creativewise and it was fun and easy to get on the same wavelength, experiment and create magical images. He has a good eye for the right poses and lights and atmosphere. He was great in Guiding me where needed.

I'm over the moon with the beautiful photo's.

If i ever get to Ireland again, i'll defenitely work with Shinu again!

I had a first shoot with Shinu last weekend during my Dublin trip. Shinu is a very communicative and enthousiastic photographer with a unique and creative approach. He is very kind, encouraging and makes sure that you feel at ease during, before and after the shoot! Pre shoot communications were great and clear. He provided food and drinks during and after the shoot. I already received amazing images the days after the shoot and I am looking forward to more results! What an awesome person, seriously, I've never clicked with someone so fast the way I did with Shinu John

I messaged what seemed like donkeys years before our shoot to compliment him on his work and how much I admired his art, and I was so unbelievably happy to hear the feelings were mutual! As you can imagine, we started planning for a shoot straight away!

Precomms for our shoot were fantastic

He gives great direction and his ideas are awesome, I also love his responses to my ideas, so encouraging and get me sooooo excited to create art!!!

I had an amazing two hour remote shoot with the lovely John Shinu!!

He made me laugh and got all my creativity out in the shoot I loved every minute of it and couldn’t believe how quick our shoot went, crazy how time flies!

Precomms were great and I could tell he had amazing energy just from the messages!

We created some awesome ideas and I love the pictures that have come out of it!

He is an incredible mind and person!!! I strongly recommend him, we had our shoot in his studio and we didn't realise the time going really fast because both we enjoyed so much our shoot.. He helps you to be comfortable and confident in the whole shoot, nothing about open legs as some photographers want. Also, as we finished really late, I didn't have a train to come back to Dublin and he hosted me in his house and gave to me a print of one shoot wich his was editing during the night. He's friendly, great to work with, and is always really understanding and accommodating. Each shoot has lasted most of a day but the time has flown. He's one of the few photographers I've worked with where it truly felt like a collaboration.

This man is a creative genius

His work ethic, creativity, inspiration and enthusiasm is unmatched. He comes up with the most amazing concepts and you are guaranteed incredible images. He’s a true artist. Attention to detail, posing guidance, and ability to think on the spot are all top notch.

Beyond that, he’s a really kind and approachable person. We were shooting for a whole day and I felt comfortable and safe every minute. There’s no awkwardness or worry when shooting with him, he’s a truly nice and respectful person who’s easy to talk to.

I love his creative editing and he gets images edited and back to you fast, and hasn’t posted anything without first checking with me if it’s okay.

Working with him was a dream and I can’t speak highly enough of him, though his work speaks for itself! Will definitely be shooting with him again and I’d recommend working with him to anyone who wants a fun and memorable experience with some insanely stunning images you’ll cherish forever
