Ally is an absolute expert, to me he seems a craftsman using light as his medium he creates images which are just utterly impressive.

Even though the depth of his knowledge and tactile understanding of his craft is clear he always makes me feel comfortable as a subject.

He makes it is easy to simply trust him, feel at ease and comfortably be charmed into giving your best which he brings out in such vivid style.

This shoot was genuinely such a marvellous experience and a privilege to work with an incredibly talented artist.

I had the pleasure of a second shoot with photographer Ally Photos creating some fine art nude images with a natural look by in house makeup artist Creative Makeup by Saskia at Synergy photography studio.

Our shoot was short but sweet and Ally is so professional and organised, setting up the lighting while I got ready. Ally is so talented and skilled capturing the most beautiful fine art nude images producing a set of images that were exactly what Ally was looking to achieve and he really does make it look so easy.

Ally is very easy to work alongside, he does not mess around knowing what he is looking to capture and working with and communicating well to both the model and anyone else involved. Very respectful, knowledgeable and always looking to learn more.

Highly recommended by myself to all creatives out there. Do not miss out on the opportunity to work with this growing talent.

After many many months of chatting, the diaries finally aligned and we managed to sort a shoot. I went up to Synergy Studios whilst on my Scotland tour and received a very warm welcome. Alistair is kind, laid back, friendly, creative and just generally a good person to be around. we worked through some art nude images, followed by fine art and then a lovely beauty look at the end. The shoot time flew by and I really enjoyed my morning.

Had an amazing shoot with Ally, at the end of a successful studio day at Synergy Studio - what a shoot, what a photographer!

We shot some stunning fine art style nudes, implied and portraits, with utterly beautiful lighting - the images are just EPIC.

Ally is a lovely dude, funny, chilled, very creative and a bloody brilliant eye for stunning images. Would highly recommend to all models and creatives, top fellow.

Meeting Alistair was an absolute pleasure, working with him was even better.

Alistair was on hand through out my studio weekend and Beauty shoot at Synergy Photography Studio, as well as joining in on the beauty shoot too!

Alistair is a true master of lighting. He knows exactly where to put certain lights, and why to put them there. His use of flags and reflectors is beyond expert level. He knows his way around his studio like the back of his hand. He is organised and incredibly helpful with those working around him.

Not only all this, but he is a bloody fabulous photographer! He is quick, efficient, and creative. His direction is clear and precise, but allows for freedom of posing while making a few tweaks to make it perfect.

I loved working alongside Alistair, and I genuinely hope to meet him and work with him again in the future.

Had my first shoot with Ally in his studio.

This was my first ever beauty shoot, and he made me feel very comfortable throughout the entire shoot. Ally was very professional, has extensive knowledge in lighting and is very well organised. He's lovely to talk to, makes you feel very welcome and is great and giving tips and directions.

I've already received some retouched images and his editing & photography skills are crazy good! Really pleased with the images and cannot wait to shoot with Ally again. 100% recommend.

I had an Audrey Hepburn themed shoot at Ally's Synergy photographic studio last Saturday.

After the workshop I spent a short period of time working with Ally, we fired though loads of outfits in no time. Each image being pretty dam awesome and the edited results from the shoot are even more awesome!

Ally is super chilled, a total gentleman and an amazing photographer.

I was lucky enough to get to meet and work with Alistair recently at his fabulous studio! He has to be one of the lovelies chaps ever!! He has such a welcoming nature and is so much fun to be around! Totally professional and respectful but a great laugh also! - He was happy enough to put up with me trying tp do a Scottish accent so fair play to him! haha!

He is so kind and generous! - When I stayed with him he spent time with me showing me some tricks and tips on photoshop as well as lending me his camera so I could shoot! There aren't many that would do that!

And boy does he know his stuff! His photoshop knowledge is so vast! I learned so much from him! Oh yes and his technical knowledge when it comes to lighting is just as good! We literally shot for 10 minuets and Ali has produced some of my favourite photographs of me ever!

I am so proud to be part of them, and amazed at how quickly we nailed the shots. But thats largely because Ali knows his stuff! His lighting was wonderful and he is so creative also - so the shots had to be good!

Anyone would be lucky to work with Ali - a really lovely person, and a very talented photographer! Highly recommended by me!

Had a really good shoot up in Scotland. Alistair had great communication before the shoot and I really enjoyed the work shop that I was invited to work on. At the end of the work shop we worked together one 2one and we was a pleasure to work with. I hope we can work together in the future and I would recommend him anybody.

I worked at the fantastic Synergy Studios recently over two days of my MAMMOTH Scottish tour and had such a blast!

On the final day I had the opportunity to briefly work with Ali at the end of my studio day which was great fun! Ali is a super talented photographer, gives fantastic direction and really knows his stuff! I absolutely love his portraits in particular and the lighting was spot on! He aims for quality rather than quantity and this really shows in his portfolio.

I would really love to work with Ali and his partner Saskia on my next trip- they are a fantastic team and a lovely couple.

I enjoyed my first shoot with Ally doing a duo shoot with the beautiful Miss Sassy Su at their studio Synergy Photography Studio in Livingston. We all had a a fantastic shoot and a good laugh, our shoot was short and sweet but we achieved a lot and it went so quickly.

Ally was ready to shoot as soon as we arrived with backdrops and lighting at the ready, he is organised, professional, polite and was very respectful not too mention he takes outstanding images.

A friendly and fun shoot, Miss Sassy Su and Ally even had some lovely props to use and we had an extremely productive shoot with superb results that I cannot wait to show off.

I stayed with Ally on my recent tour of Scotland and also had a fabulous day at his studio whilst visiting.

Leading up to the tour Ally's communication was spot on, he helped me with every little thing leading up to the tour! He was incredibly helpful and so accommodating when I finally arrived.

We only got a little window of opportunity to shoot together on the day, but was not disappointed with the results! Ally is amazing behind the camera, everything was spot on and we achieved great results in the little time we had!

Ally is a true gentlemen, friendly and talented.
