Basford Hurst Cottage Photography Location

Kevin came to Basford to shoot with Em, Yang Studios.

Kevin is a really friendly photographer and pre comms where great. Kevin arrived on time, fully prepared with plenty of props and equipment to use during the shoot.

Kevin is easy to talk to and brings a wealth of experience to his shoots. He is always respectful of the model and looked after our location throughout.

Kevin is welcome back to Basford anytime and I hope to see him again soon!

I shot with Kevin a good few months ago now and we got some amazing images! unfortunately had to take them down as they included someone I no longer wish to share. however this Saturday I will get the chance to create some new images and I'm really looking forward to it. he travelled down to me and now I'm returning to him at his studio. can't wait to see what we create! such a lovely guy and very proffessional, would highly reccomend. :)

For a last minute shoot with a photographer I’ve never worked with before Kevin made me feel relaxed, at ease and safe. The shoot went incredibly smoothly, respecting my boundaries and limits at all times and working only with the levels agreed. I am blown away with the final images and cannot wait to work with him again in the coming months. What a great guy and photographer.

Had my second shoot with Kevin and the third is lined up.

He listened to my ideas and accepted how I wanted to be photographed with no pressure and I felt at ease with him within 5 minutes of being in his company.

Very talented photographer who helped direct me as I'm new to this and the photo's taken show this on my page.

Between us I feel we have creative imaginations and I look forward to seeing what we come up with next.

If you get the opportunity to shoot with him, do it!

Pre-comms were excellent, as usual.

He arrived on time and was well-prepared with all his equipment.

The shoot was a great success, we got some fabulous images.

Had a first shoot with Kevin today, he was kind enough to drive a fair distance to my home and even rang me at the start of his journey to let me know there was a delay on the motorway. Of course, this was no issue at all as we can never predict the roads but it was nice of him to let me know. This didn’t have an impact on the time luckily, he arrived in good time all prepped. The shoot was relaxed and Kevin was professionally mannered and chatty, a lovely chappy all round and it was an enjoyable first shoot. Some lovely images produced which he was happy to show me the back of the camera. Overall, a positive experience with Kevin and would happily work with again 😊

Had my first shoot with Kevin today he travelled down to shoot in my area, We had been talking for quite some time about shooting and I’m so thrilled I got the opportunity to meet and shoot with him.

Pre comms were great, Kevin is an incredible photographer with a superb eye for detail, His direction throughout the shoot were amazing and from what I have seen in the back of the camera the images looked stunning!

This was my first shoot with Kevin today ,we had a fantastic shoot 🙂 he made me feel Very comfortable . Was lovely to work in a calm and relaxed atmosphere..that time just flew by . My 3rd shoot with Kevin (maybe 4th).

We covered some duo shots with Tasha and then some solo just me over a couple of days! Firstly Kevin is a top photographer. Perfect simple pre comms, prompt and efficient with timings, setting up and responding. Secondly Kevin is such a sweet, decent bloke. Thirdly he is really respectful. Has a great eye for what will look good and work well-fashion included!

No matter what Kevin would always and without doubt totally respect any models wishes. We covered fashion-adult- I trust and I feel totally comfortable around Kevin and love the variety of styles.

Really professional whilst being able to chat away like friends. Images shared in no time. Highly recommend! Thankyou Kevin. See you in a couple of weeks x

Had my 5th shoot with Shelly! And just like every other time it was fabulous! He was very kind to pick me up and take me to wincanton where we shot in a beautiful annex. Did a variety of lingerie styles together and created some stunning shots! Would highly recommend Shelly! Fabulous photographer and a fabulous person to work with! Looking forward to our next shoot! We’ve been discussing dates already☺️📸

Spent a couple of days shooting with this lovely person and photographer. We shot at my home and some outside locations- covering styles from fashion to adult and stills and video. I've worked with Kevin a fair amount of times before now but never on outside location and nothing changed. Throughout he was totally respectful had a great eye for lighting, framing and considered all the surroundings. I love working with him, we get on really well and seem to work really we together too. Great content created and shared and many more planned. I'd totally recommend him to all other creatives. This is a friend in the industry. See you soon x

Had great ideas, both merge our ideas and positions and brought a different type of imagery to my portfolio with his edits and helping colours really stand out and bring effect such as my hair and jewellery. He had an amazing leather coat which he knew was my style and created some good images. I was happy when I saw the photos, and made sure I got back home safely. Thankyou Kev

I shot with Kevin for the first time in a hotel which I was nervous about as I've never shot in a hotel room before but I was quickly put at ease when he greeted me. He was professional and respectful throughout the whole shoot, gave great direction for some poses I was unfamiliar with, was chatty and we got some great image results!

I had such an amazing time at our shoot day at the X Factory! I met Shelly at a group networking day for a model company and made plans to shoot together another day too. I loved how professional he was, gave great directions with posing and had some excellent ideas for shots. He also really helped with pre production with outfit ideas and showed me a side of myself I didn't know existed through his photos. I can't wait to shoot together again, highly recommend!

It was my first time shooting with Kevin at the X Factory he was very helpful with directions to finding the studio and all pre coms where helpful.

I showed Kevin my outfits and straight away he knew what would look good in which part of the studio. He knows exactly how to make use of natural light and gave me good direction. The results speak for themselves they are amazing he is so quick to share also. We will definitely be working together again, thankyou x
